To my way of thinking being of a “certain age” can and does mean, at least, two different things for me. We are constantly told/reminded that people of a “certain age” are more at risk to covid19. I certainly do not dispute that “fact”. However, there are those of a “certain age” between, let’s say’’ 50 and 70+ and then there are those of a “certain age” 80 or older. I am soon to be a member of the latter group. Over the last three years I have lost both my brother-in-law and my sister. They were married when I was fifteen and were married for 62 years. They lived within fifteen minutes of me and we were very close. My brother-in-law died at age 86 and my sister at 88. As I am soon to be 80 I would guess that, at best, I have ten to fifteen years more to live. With the above, in mind, I sincerely believe that my choices as an older person of a “certain age” are quite different than those of a younger person of a “certain age”. I recently attended the wedding of my great niece and upon returning home I self- quarantined for two weeks. The end of next month a friend and I are taking a two-day road trip to the Santa Barbara area of California. Upon my return I will self-quarantine for two weeks. On November 7th, a friend, from this site, and I will depart for a one-week vacation in Puerto Vallarta. Upon my return I will self-quarantine for two weeks. From the 22nd of December to the 26th I will be in Laguna Beach. I have always loved Christmas and have decorated my condo for the many parties I host during that time. Since those parties are no longer possible I’m fleeing the coop. Upon my return I will self-quarantine for two weeks. The point of all of this is that I’m not convinced I have the time to wait out this covid19 insanity thus I’m going to continue my life as I have lived it as best I can. If I should come down with covid19 and die well at least I will have lived a great life. I apologize for this very long winded epistle. P.S. Yes I do wear a mask when in public, wash my hands frequently, and social distance.

I must assume that he is a fan of the James Dean character in the film "Giant".

I will be 80 the 24th of next month. I plan to attend the Palm Springs Weekend whether there is an effective vaccine or not (frankly I do not believe there will be). I will certainly wear a mask in crowded public places. If restaurants are open and social distancing is practiced, I will use them. I went out for breakfast this morning and for the first time in weeks I actually wore a collared shirt, slacks and a pair of loafers. I have become weary of wearing flip flops, shorts, and tee shirts day in and day out. Damn it felt good. I went to a wedding a number of weeks ago and I was uncomfortable with the lack of social distancing and the non-use of masks. When I returned home I self-quarantined for two weeks. These are about the limits of what I am willing to do to comply with covid19 protective measures. Each of us must decide for ourselves what chances and what protections we take. I condemn no one for the choices they make, nor do I expect them to condemn me. Frankly if I die in my sleep tonight, I have had one hell of a great life and I refuse to stop living it simply because of covid19

Now I shave and shower once a day immediately upon getting up in the morning. I have for the last fifty years slept naked. Now if that means I'm sleeping in my own filth -- so be it. Haven't noticed that I smell or had anybody complain about body odor.

Has NEVER had a problem keeping it "up" with me quite the contrary.

Had meatball_mike (https://rent.men/Meatball_Mike) out to my place Monday evening for dinner and a couple of hour of recreation. The guy is as great as ever. If you have the opportunity to get together with him by all means do. If you happen to have any questions regarding our get together feel free to private me.

This guys photos show a guy who would normally be of great interest to me. He is even located in my backyard. But I'm at the point in my hiring career where if an escort can't be bothered to check the things he is into I can't be bothered to pursue him. Yea I know I could ask him but frankly I don't thing I should have to, all the lazy cuss has to do is check the boxes.

Correct Lucky. We were having what I considered a very productive dialogue regarding setting up a meeting then all of a sudden he went silent. Since there a many fish in the oceans I didn't kill myself attempting to re-establish contact.

I NEVER wear underwear. I sleep naked and I don't wear underwear under my clothing. Around the house I wear sweat shorts and maybe a tee-shirt.

Pensant that is definitely one of the major reason I have chosen to live in inland SoCal. There are two others: 1.) Proximity to work was definitely a factor. I never wanted to have to drive freeways to work. 2.) On a school teachers salary I simply couldn't afford to live in the foothills or directly on the coast.

If everything is there in his profile then I'm unfortunately not interested. He doesn't list kissing as something he is into. Too bad because I do find him attractive.

An aside to this discussion is the fact that most native Southern Californians who are not wealthy scoff at those who chose to live in the foothills or immediately adjacent to the ocean. It is a known and constantly reoccurring fact that the foothills burn up in the fall and then suffer major mud slides during the winter rains. Heavy winter storms are often accompanied by extremely high surfs along the coast which can and do on occasion lead to flooding. After these natural reoccurring conditions people who have lost their homes complain bitterly and demand government assistance to help them rebuild where they should not have built/lived in the first place. In less affluent areas located adjacent to open range government zoning requirements used to require that builders provide a buffer zone between their housing tracts and the open range. During the last couple of decades developers have lobbied local governing bodies to eliminate these buffer zone requirements. Now as many of these same developers have been and still are major contributors to the campaign funds of the members of the local city councils and county board of supervisors the buffer zone requirements have been eliminated. Thus, over the years we have seen an ever-increasing number of open range fires intruding into adjacent housing developments. Oh well as ever MONEY TALKS.

I have to agree that he looks great especially in the first photograph. Uunfortunately he doesn't mention kissing in his list of thing he is into.

Good Luck!!!!! This isn't a new problem in Southern California. Insurances companies have declined to insure hillside homes for years and if forced to by the state the rates are astronomical. I was born in Los Angeles and hillside fires have been a fact of life here my entire life and I'm about to be 80.

I find everything about this guy appealing except his Boston location. He isn't list in Las Vegas so I just sent him a text asking where he is based. If and when I get a definitive answer I post it here.

Greetings Kenneth_ryan, I second and third everything jawjateck has said. I would add that I strongly recommend you keep or develop a sense of humor. Most of the posters on this site are congenial and will attempt to provide you with well intended advice. There are, unfortunately, some jerks here who will without much cause attack and ridicule other posters. Ignore them if you happen to end up on the receiving end of their bull shit. I might also suggest that if the Palm Springs weekend is a go in 2021 you consider attending. It is an excellent place to meet other escorts and some really nice prospective clients. Well that's that enough of my palaver. Welcome and enjoy this site for what it is and don't take it all that seriously.

I found that dealing with an agency was very different from dealing with an escorts personal agent. There was an agency in New York, I can't remember the name, that I used once or twice. The escorts were frequently aspiring Broadway actors or dancers who didn't have the time or the desire to arrange their own escorting schedules. Some of the escorts who used that agency were incredibly attractive and engaging. Premiere in Philadelphia, as Pensant, mentioned did a great job. Then their was Man for Man, I believe that was the name, out here in the L.A. area that also did a great job. Over the years I have only found myself dealing with an escorts personal agent once or twice. I always found the situation awkward and disengaged ASAP.

According to the Boutique Air web site the one way fare from Los Angeles International to Palm Springs is currently listed at $130.60. It just might be more cost and time effective to fly directly to Palm Springs or if that isn't possible then fly to Ontario, rent a car and drive. The drive from Ontario to Palm Springs shouldn't take more than an hour.

Up until the second half of the 20th Century many wealthy philanthropists supported traditional cultural institutions – museums, symphony orchestras, opera companies, ballet companies, etc. This has become less and less the case and many of these cultural heritage organization are rapidly disappearing. Ballet companies are closing all over the country and live ballet many soon become a thing of the past. Thus I donate to American Ballet Theater

Sorry about that -- my bad. Well maybe she is campaigning for her X

Why does her schmoozing with everyone seem odd? She is campaigning for her father.

I walk three to five mile a day and I walk early in the morning. I leave my house a little before 6 a.m. Because of the time of day I walk I encounter VERY few people. Thus I DO NOT wear a mask and if someone approaches me I cross to the other side of the street. I always keep a mask in my car thus if I go anywhere where I must mix with other people I have a mask readily available to wear.

As many of you, I'm sure, know I've been around here for damn near forever. For the nearly twenty years I've been an active member of this site there have been trolls. Unfortunately, I don't have a clue what a pot is. As far as the trolls are concerned I've found that the best way to deal with them is to simply ignore them. On any site where the participants are anonymous one is going to encounter people who love the stir the pot to keep it boiling. Thus when encountering a troll my advice is simply ignore him and move on – do not get all hot and bothered.

Unicorn is right BUT only to a point. In my opinion EVERYONE should have a colonoscopy at about age 35. If the colon is clear of polyps fine then start an every five year repeat at age 50. I am perfectly aware that colon cancer has a tendency to run in families BUT not always. My mother who was a preventative fanatic and was found to have polyps at age 55 and insisted that all the rest of the family have the procedure regardless of age. I had my first one in my early 30,s and one every five years right up to the present. The worst part of a colonoscopy isn't the actual procedure it's the damn preparation the day before. My nephew had his first colonoscopy at about age 35 at the insistence of both my mother and my sister. After the procedure the doctor informed him that his colon looked like a forest full of polyps and that if he had waited an other year or two he would have been beyond help. He had so many polyps that they couldn't all be removed at once and he had to go in once a year for five years to get more removed. He is now 65 and goes in every year for a colonoscopy. I realize that some insurance companies will balk at paying for a colonoscopy for someone under the age of 50 without symptoms or a family history of colon cancer cancer BUT they will give in and pay IF the person persists and insists.
