Cash is always king. I stick to this philosophy and ask all new clients to pay in cash. I have taken other forms of payment but only with people I know well.
Well it happened. After only 2 months of ownership, I lost the charger to my Powerbeats Pro headphones at a train station! I am now debating if I should buy the new AirPods pro or just find a used charger.
I have had the exact experience you described. It’s rare for me to ever receive the “pat down” but next time I will demand the private one(For research purposes of course).
To add in here. I’ll snag an apple and banana from the lounge at the hotels. I also pack cans of tuna prior to every trip as well. I’ve always been a graze type eater so I like my snacks and meals throughout the day. I can’t say I have preemptively brought bags or containers for leftovers though.
Mileage runs when you’re short in spend are hard to justify. I’m in a similar position with Marriott. I’m short on Spend for Ambassador status this year. I was very upset with the “perks” and think I’ll just save my money since the difference between that and Titanium are nonexistent.
