So after a week, I went back and they did what they said they would.
 
It was a long and exhausting road. But eight years later, I'm still doing Crossfit three days a week, only missing a session when I'm on vacation or sick. I lost 30 pounds in the first four months (with the Paleo diet -- no carbs) and after about a year, ditched the cholesterol pills. I can now run a mile without stopping, do Olympic lifts, and climb a rope (slowly).
 
Competed in my first Crossfit competition, a local one, many years ago -- came in close to last place for my age group. This year, I finished my second global Crossfit Open and moved up to the middle of the pack worldwide in my age group.
 
After decades of being an overweight nerd, I've turned into a jock in my fifties.
 
I've stuck with Crossfit because of the variety: every workout is different so I'm never bored. My entire body gets a workout. There's also a lot of camaraderie with the 20-somethings who finish the workout first encouraging people like me who usually finish last. Since each workout is a class, everybody knows everybody else's name, and tries to integrate newcomers as quickly as possible. The coaches are on our case if we try to do too much or too little.
 
At the highest levels, Crossfit is no harder than doing any sport. I'm never going to compete at the Crossfit Games on TV but fitness runners won't be running for the Olympics and weekend basketball players won't be playing for the NBA.
 
Critics usually forget to mention that, as someone here has already stated, all workouts are scalable. Which is how a senior citizen beginner who may be lifting with a plastic pipe works out at the same time as a college jock who is breaking personal barbell records. We've had pregnant women working out until 2-3 weeks before giving birth and then coming back four weeks after. No mom-bods for these ladies.
 
Our latest member is around 72 and in just a couple of months, he's gone from being barely able to move to lifting light weights, rowing, biking, and doing pushups. He'll probably be joining our mile runs in a few months.
 
To me the worst thing about Crossfit is not the difficulty -- everybody who sticks with it, no matter their physical shape when they started, eventually ends up doing the workouts. It's the cost: $150 a month is average for my area (SoCal). It's higher in other places.
 
If you want to try Crossfit -- checkout several boxes. Nearly all will let you do one beginner workout for free. Like anything else, some affiliates are better than others. I had to try out five gyms before settling on my current one.

I understand that you need money, but it seems like you think escorting is gonna be easier or faster money than most other jobs. It’s not the case unless you work in an extremely reckless way. It takes time to build a client base and you have to invest your own money for advertising and transportation to reach them.
 
Yes it’s true that eventually, an established professional can make quick cash same-day and that’s very convenient. But no NEWBIE is gonna be able to find two clients same-day to make hundreds of dollars to cover a car bill. That is the perk of being an EXPERIENCED escort.
 
Yes getting a pay check job does involve a wait to get paid. You have to work for two weeks, maybe wait another week to get that pay check. A two week wait for what? $500-700? Sure, it SOUNDS like an escort can make more money and faster, but how many escorts invest $60 into a RM ad and $50 into a burner phone only to get just 1-2 clients their first month of work? Tons of them. Let’s say $200 each and be generous and say first month there was 2 clients. $20 uber expenses for each client. $400 - $150 investment = $350 of profit for the first month of being an escort. Sort of makes the hourly pay check job look like a damn good option. This isn’t an abnormal experience for new escorts.
 
If your panic is about DEBT and CREDIT SCORE, just get a grip on yourself. Tons of people are in lots of debt and have bad credit. You just need to get over it and accept that this is going to be the case for you for now. Put that shit on the back burner and focus on getting your basic life needs together. You need housing, transportation, food, etc. If all that is provided for you then quit panicking.
 
Your desperation is absolutely a dangerous factor as you consider entering the industry. You should not try to escort until it disappears; otherwise you will make bad decisions and subject yourself unneccesarily to negative experiences. Have a clear business-oriented approach to escorting and you can succeed. But as with any business, you will operate in the red at first and it will take time for you to draw a profit, especially a profit that beats a wage job.
 
Approaching this as the business endeavour that it is rather than a quick and easy way to make money is what will make you a good escort. That and lots of practice. Best of luck.

I have made appointments weeks ahead of time. As noted in another thread, it's to assure I get a chance to see a traveler when our schedules may have a limited overlap. I think it's only fair to both sides to confirm as a "far-ahead" appointment approaches.

I just finished up a pleasant encounter with a new client in Atlanta. Our 90 minute appointment easily went over 2 hours. My client was very appreciative as he placed the money on my coffee table. After he left, I discovered he was $100 short. I built up the courage to send him a message 15 minutes later explaining the issue. He was very apologetic and we attributed the shortage to a miscommunication on the rate. I'm happy to report that he is still going to pay me the difference and all is well in the world.
