I will chime in with others and say that in my opinion, making the appointment IS the confirmation. Why do it again? Also, I get super annoyed when a masseur asks me to reach out again closer to the appointment to confirm. I don’t need additional confirmation; if you do, then you take it upon yourself to reach out to me.
