  1. I wouldn't recommend Taylor.  I didn't get the sense that he's experienced or trained.  I love very strong, deep pressure, but I think he just digs super hard without actually knowing what he's doing.  His massage resulted in significant back pain for weeks and have resorted to popping advil frequently.  I think what he's doing is potentially fairly dangerous.

And while he's pretty to look at, the ending was also pretty mechanical and lackluster.  I absolutely would not repeat.

I'm really unpleasantly surprised to read these comments. Because I know Michael, see him for many years, regularly for wondwerful massages. He is the most welcoming, friendly, reliable, selfless, accomodating masseur out there in New York, and I have never encountered any problems dealing with him. He is REAL though, and he really preferrs to make appointments by phone, not by texting or emails. That's why you guys who comment negatively on him here, feel that he is threatening, aggressive and pushy. But that's not true at all, once u do call him and get to know him in person. It's very easy just to keep cruising and hiding behind computer or phone screen, and discuss and trash someone, but have you ever tried to call him? And get a massage from him. I can assure, u will be very sorry for your words and actions.

So interesting that you write things like "u" and "keep cruising", just like in the original screenshot of the masseur's harassing messages.  Fascinating coincidence!!

So, I try to make initial contact 2 days in advance to schedule.  I state the day, timeframe, and location I'm looking for, then wait.  If they haven't replied in 4 hours, I reply with "Since I haven't heard from you, you must be busy.  I'm going to try another provider, but let me know if your availability changes".  Then I repeat with someone else.

The "Since I haven't heard from you..." message seems unnecessary and a bit passive-aggressive.  If I were a provider, I think I would find it off-putting.

If the provider doesn't ever respond, I take them off or move them down my list.  If they respond and I'm still free, great, let's do it.  If they respond more than 4 hours later (to use your example) and now I'm booked with someone else, I politely respond that I've made another plan and will reach out again another time, and they will likely understand that they may have missed a booking due to the time it took them to respond.

It's easy to assume the worst when you don't hear anything, and there are certainly flakes out there, but providers generally don't have receptionists, and they are balancing their business with their private lives.  I know it can sometimes feel like it, but it's almost never personal.

I'm not going to get vaxxed for covid nor for monkeypox. If I need the cash then I'll just lie.

My clientele aren't the promiscuous, bathhouse, Sniffies.com type so I'll just take my chances like I did with covid.

I wonder if I can catch monkeypox from all these newly vaccinated men and their viral loads, no pun intended. I'll let ya guys know!

Or you could just do something fucking else entirely and not lie to people.  XXXXXXX

Seems like a great guy, and I wouldn’t hold this against him, but I always find it a little weird when people write about themselves in the third person in their profiles.
