I've never had an issue in hotels, and agree with @nycman hotels have "seen it all". I was traveling this week, called for extra towels (at a Marriott property BTW) and the housekeeper who delivered them said "have a good time" . Oliver. The Northeast corridor is an obvious choice. There is great train service between Boston NYC and Washington DC. I realize these are not smaller markets but each one is a “hub” to smaller local markets. For example Portland Maine provincetown Hartford CT and Albany NY are all pretty easy to reach from Boston. If you continue west from Albany you pick up western NY and then CHICAGO. Just a suggestion. Count me “in” for Boston ?
