HEY! There's an expression your parent used! Now post it in THAT thread. I wonder what he would've thought about people paying oodles of money to try to visit the Titanic site in an oversized soda can.

My hands don't work too well, and my fingers are chubby, so I can't text. I have to dictate. I can tell you Siri is not a baseball fan, because she always screws up names and game situations when I'm texting with my sister and brother in law. So Siri knows I like to listen to ELO or ABBA or Rick Springfield on youtube on my phone when I do dishes. Let her try to blackmail me. I'm not ashamed!

Altuve hit back to back homers with Mauricio Dubon twice last night. The second time was in his final at bat of the game. Then tonight he homered in the first, second, and third innings in Houston's second straight annihilation of Texas. So that was four consecutive homers for him and five in six at bats. He was 0-2 after that tonight and then they took him out to rest, so he did not get a chance for a fourth one tonight, but he's had a decent couple of days.

Chinese authorities released this image of damage done to the Great Wall in Shanxi province. The aging structure that stretches for about 12,000 miles across China has deteriorated over the centuries — with Chinese officials estimating that nearly a third of the Great Wall has crumbled — and has been the target of thieves. Tourists have also defaced the popular attraction, prompting Chinese officials to crack down on vandalism at the site in recent years.

yes. your upload has to be 'approved', but that usually only takes a few minutes. and if you so desire, you can spend the 24 hours downloading HD videos so you can watch them to your heart's content whenever you want to... then upload one of them in the future to earn another 24 hours, and so on and so on... some videos must be on the site a half a dozen times, sometimes with altering names, sometimes all the same.

BIG DEAL! Who do they think they are? ABBA? They'd have to wait until 2045 for it to be their first in 40.

click your heels together 3 times... He’s back to being the mane attraction. Fifteen-year-old lion Ruben has finally returned to his natural habitat after five years trapped in a concrete cell — growing so lonely in the process that he lost his roar, per SWNS. The lion was left behind at an abandoned zoo in Armenia after its owner passed away, and the other animals were relocated — except for him, according to Animal Defenders International. Now, Ruben has been offered a second chance at life after making the 5,200-mile journey from Armenia to the ADI Wildlife Sanctuary in Free State, South Africa. ADI President Jan Creamer said seeing Ruben take his first steps brought them all “to tears.” “Lions are the most sociable of the big cats, living in family prides in the wild,” Creamer explained. “So it must have been devastating for Ruben to have no contact or communication with other lions.” “Seeing him walk on grass for the first time, hearing the voices of his own kind, with the African sun on his back, brought us all to tears,” Creamer continued. The amazing journey was aided by Qatar Airways Cargo, which stepped in with its “WeQare” charity initiative. Qatar provided an aircraft with hold doors big enough for Ruben’s crate. When Ruben arrived, his legs wobbled as he suffered from malnutrition and lack of exercise — but just being at the sanctuary for a short time has already had an impact on his behavior. “His whole demeanor has transformed, his face is relaxed and no longer fearful,” Creamer said. “His determination to walk is inspiring.” “If he stumbles or falls, he just picks himself up and keeps going,” she added. “He is nothing short of heroic.” Ruben exhibited this amazing resilience as soon as he stepped out of his travel crate. Immediately, he started playing with what’s being called his first toy — a giant catnip punching bag. And, he has even started to get his roar back, as he is now surrounded by other lions.
