As a native Spanish speaker, I do not find the Dutch g sound too difficult to pronounce, Wolfer: it is very similar to our Spanish j, perhaps just a little bit more guttural. However, to me, pronouncing the Dutch diphthong UI correctly is downright impossible. It is something like the ou in ouch, but not quite. You have to add a weird twist to your mouth.....

In Mexico, we still say estacionar when we park our car, BSR. Nobody uses aparcar, which does sound like an Anglicism to me....

As I mentioned, Spanish is my mother tongue. Just to add to Epigonos's Spanglish list, one of the funniest expressions I heard in NY was "te vacumo la carpeta", which in Spanish sounds like "I will vaccinate the folder for you", when in fact they meant "I will vacuum your carpet"...Talk about gibberish...

I have always wondered if a native Spanish speaker would be able to understand Italian. What about Portuguese?

Spanish is my mother tongue. Italian is somewhat easy to understand, especially in spoken form, but it can sometimes get real tricky. On the other hand, written Portuguese is an absolute piece of cake. To me, it looks like funny Spanish with a lot of misspellings and weird word order :) As far as spoken Portuguese, it is easy to understand Brazilians, but not so Portuguese, because their accent is a lot more nasal and they do not articulate. In general, it is easier for a native Portuguese speaker (whether Brazilian or Portuguese) to understand spoken Spanish than the other way around.

Besides Spanish, I learned English AND French simultaneously as a very young boy, and I am absolutely fluent in those three languages. No foreign accent, particularly in French. Since my primary school education was in Spanish and my high school was in French, I count and do basic arithmetic in Spanish, but solve more sophisticated math questions, such as second degree equations and square roots, in French. Funny how the brain works.

I live in Prague and use Romeo extensively. You are right, lieut_kije, the boys can delete unfavourable comments posted on their guestbook, which makes those "reviews" somewhat unreliable. You have to trust your gut. In my case, I have found excellent escorts there, with some rotten apples (nothing major). I am not into muscles or muscle worship, though, but there are some boys advertising in Prague that fit that category (Jay993, Velvety20...). Sorry I cannot be of more help!

Ditto, UKtop and westernsyd. The Paris bar scene seems to be slow to pick up working boys, and I therefore also suggest using gayromeo aka planetromeo. BTW, there is an absolutely gorgeous, stunning boy advertising in the Paris section of that site, under the name GAB_RUSSEL. He has great recommendations (not only there, which can be unreliable, but also elsewhere). Well, guys, in spite of the bad review, I trusted my instincts and decided to hire Christopher for an overnight...I am GLAD I did!
