I lived in Prague for 4 years. It is indeed a wonderful city, with beautiful buildings and sites, a true jewel of Baroque and Art Deco architecture. It was spared from destruction during WW2 because it was occupied by the Nazis since day one. The only bomb that fell in the city was accidentally dropped in 1945 by Allied planes, who were on their way to wipe Dresden off the map. I agree that the Czechs can seem unpleasant when you first meet them but, once you get to know them, they are very nice people, especially if you try to say a few things in their truly impossible language. One should understand that their society is very homogeneous and they sort of instinctively mistrust foreigners: after all, throughout their history they have been subdued and oppressed by their powerful neighbors, be it Germans, Austrians, or Russians. And then, the boys are gorgeous. I miss Prague.

Here’s a comment that might be a little off-topic but maybe relevant. Czech or Slovak porn sites such as Bel Ami, Staxus or William Higgins are blocked in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and most probably in Hungary as well. Now, don’t think it is government censorship or anything like that: this is a policy enforced by the sites themselves, ostensibly to protect their models’ privacy. This could have been relevant twenty years ago, but nowadays you can find their videos in places like pornhub or xtube, which defeats the purpose. There are also ways to circumvent this ban: in Prague I used a simple VPN to access them, and none the wiser.
