Since I'm off work this week, I reached out to him yesterday to set up a session either yesterday or today if he had any availability, and expressed a preference for after 10 am, so I could avoid the additional commute time due to rush hour traffic. If you mean you pass cash directly to homeless people on the streets, yes, that is not a good strategy. If you mean you are donating to a proper homeless relief organization, your money is doing more than you may realize. Aside from the money being used where most needed, the organization being able to point to a list of people who make donations is useful when working with policy makers. You can get a triple-whammy if you follow up your donations with a personal letter to those same policy makers. Maybe you already know all this...

I never liked white noise, too much energy in the high frequencies. Eventually, I found Brownian noise (commonly called brown noise) worked much better to help me sleep, if you want to check it out.

This topic came up recently in another thread, with a video of a purring cat, with music added. I have to say the music wasn't a help for me. But I did like the video of just the cat. As I've done more exploring, I came to realize I don't think someone speaking would ever trigger me, it's just too distracting.
