I almost never even check my pm's and I've been here for decades (well near the start anyway). I just checked and my first unreplied to pm was from 2004. Apologies to all I've never replied to. I will start watching this in the future.

I've been with Micky a few times and highly recommend him.

I get the same up-selling. They tell me it will be so more expensive if I let it go to failure (old fillings and such). They might be forced to do root canal. I try to pick and choose but it's very tough to reject these dire warnings.

It makes sense for the service provider to discount a known customer. The service provider must ask himself how many potential customers he must talk to book one appointment. When taking the wasted time on talkers who do not follow through on appointments there is value to taking a booking from a known customer. But if a service provider is in such demand that he is constantly booked weeks or months in advance there may be little motivation to lower rates. But even then a service provider in high demand still has the cost of no shows so even then there is a value to a repeat customer. It usually all comes down to supply & demand.
