You know, I'm not that young. I'm a Gen Xer and parts of this conversation feel like they're taking place in the 1980s. 

The fragile masculinity on display in this thread is too much. If the provider isn’t to your taste, hire someone else. Why are you asking people to change themselves?
 
Getting a manicure and pedicure costs about $100 at a decent, not high-end,  salon. Are you going to give him the extra money to have it redone?

Ask yourself why you're asking this question. I sincerely doubt that any trans men on RM are trying to trick cis guys into hiring them. That would be potentially quite dangerous as cis people use transphobia to explain away their violence against trans people. 
This reads as a fear-mongering hypothetical to me, which is in particularly poor taste as trans people are facing unprecedented violence and political attacks across the country. 

I find threads like this to be very childish.  I often remind myself of all the things providers have to endure, i.e, clients of all shapes and sizes who expect providers to sexually perform at a moment’s notice, bad client personal hygiene issues, smoker’s breath, clients being pissed off because they only got 57.3 minutes instead of a full hour, clients complaining his dick is only 7.5 in when he advertised 8 in.The list goes on and on.  And yet there are those of us here concerned about nail polish.  
 
And spare me the comments that you’re paying good money to get what you want.  I don’t want to hear them. 

I wear nail polish at times. Having well-manicured nails is wonderful and should be encouraged. 
And if the polish puts you off, maybe examine your internalized misogyny and femme-phobia. 
Nothing irks me more than gay men policing other people's gender expression. If you're a man who fucks men, you've already crossed the Rubicon, so why not enjoy the perks.
