I have had three experiences where things went beyond just a massage.
 
For Me these times just were about chemistry. I have a rugby power lifted like build so I'm not typically most guys' type. I also wasn't expecting anything more than a massage but as a fully grown adult, if two people are attracted to each other then what's the harm if things escalated? Since one particular time with one particular masseur, it hasn't gone way beyond the massage since that one time I still don't expect it to but if it ever does again, great.
 
So all of that to say I put that ball in their court. I wouldn't hire a masseur on the hope it lead to more than that. However if they have RM a profile in addition to MF or MM4M profiles, it's likely it can go beyond massage if you ask.

When the masseur sees you naked on the table he then decides how erotic it will be. You just have to either pay more or find a masseur who likes what you look like or likes what you do sexually.

I think you might want to look up the definition of a sensual massage.
The polite way would be to ask if the masseur escorts too, and not make the assumption that a sensual massage is going to be something it's not.

I would think they would assume that I had no need to revisit their ads so I would put that burden of price increase informing on them. I wouldn't mind paying an increased base rate as I always have tipped. If it's someone who I have a built up mutual familiarity with, I'm OK with rate increases. I do have a price per hour that I feel is too much for new guys though.
 
If you've been paying more than required for a while I think you're good. You are likely a reliable booking for him and dependable and I think that's something he probably takes into account if he hadn't told you.

Regardless of whether the client may or may not have seen the new rates, it's up to the masseur to disclose any changes in prices. If you go to a spa, prices are posted, but with an independent masseur, it is entirely possible that a client may never see the masseurs ad again after the initial booking. I have several masseurs' phone numbers in my phone and I contact them directly without looking for their ads. If the masseur wants their regular clients to pay the new rate, that's a conversation they need to initiate. A masseur would be stupid to think "Gee, I hope they saw my new rates online." I see a masseur privately who used to work at a spa. I used to pay the spa rate to see him, but now I pay more to see him privately (almost double what I used to pay, actually). I can certainly see the need to charge more going independent, and I choose to pay his new rate. However, if I paid $X to see someone last month and now they want to charge me $20, $50 more and there's no significant change in situation that I'm aware of, I will make the decision if he is worth the extra money. Ideally, he should tell me of the new rate at the time of booking my next appt. If he tells me as I'm paying after the massage is over, that's bad manners.
 
Raising rates on repeat customers usually isn't a good idea. As stated above, repeat clients are their bread and butter. It's easy money and no hassle. They know what the expectations are with their client; there's no stress about potential law enforcement; there's significantly less risk of no show or last minute cancellations, etc. If they want to test the waters to see if they can get more with new clients, then more power to them. As the client, I have every right to decide if I'm willing to pay the new rate. But thank you for your judgmental comment about being a cheapskate. Very helpful to the conversation!

You wait for him to let you know. You said he is your "regular masseur", which means you are his "regular client." For a masseur, "regular clients" are their bread and butter. If he wanted to raise your rate, he would have told you. He obviously does not want to raise your rate, since he has said nothing, since you are a regular. Leave it at that, and enjoy your massage sessions, knowing that you give him steady business, which is what any masseur wants = Regular Clients.

Is a message forum like this considered “social media”? Regardless, the parallels are there. A bunch of people who have never met squabbling, fighting, insulting and attacking each other anonymously over absolutely NOTHING.

My regular guy quoted me $100 for an hour, $150 for 90 minutes. For 90 minutes, I give him anything from $150-$160 - since the ATMs don't have $10 bills in them. I gave him two very nice bottles of wine for Christmas and two more on his birthday. He seems happy with the situation.
 
He also works on me from an hour and twenty minutes up to an hour and fifty minutes, never mentioning he's gone over/under time. He knows I'm usually prepared to pay $150 and that's what he accepts. Once when I attempted to pay him an extra $50 because the previous massage went to 2 hours, he refused to accept the payment.
 
I treat him with respect bordering on adoration and funny, he treats me the very same way.

Tad harsh. Masseurs are always changing rates up and down. In my own business I have published rates. None of my current customers will ever simply pay me those rates even if they know them, nor would I expect them to. It’s my job to inform them.

I would expect the masseur to either keep allowing old clients to pay the rate they’ve been paying or inform them up front upon booking that there’s a new rate. I feel like it has nothing to do with you being cheap as a client.

Yeah. I don’t usually visit his ad. So not sure when he changed it. Maybe it’ll go down again and I’ll be overpaying a little... I’ll just keep paying his original rate. I’ll follow his lead as you said. Thanks.

Personally, I’d let him inform me. I’m not regularly purusing the ad for my regular guy nor am I paying close attention to details such as price changes if I do happen to open the ad. If he truly is someone you see on a regular basis, follow his lead not his ad.

If you have a roommate and are taking incalls, let your customer know went they book. Hearing other unexpected people in the place is odd. I hired one guy and went to his place. Walked in to the front door. Bam. Massage table in the living room. But he lead me to his room. So I figured it was for practice or perhaps extra. Get to his room and on the table there and later during my massage, I hear another person going up and down the stairs.
 
Well after my massage was done, a black curtain was pulled from the living room area so you couldn't see from the stairway and I was led out the backdoor through the kitchen. WKOSIT?
 
I concluded that his roommate was also a masseur. That's fine and dandy. But at least let me know. I am sure the roommate's client found it odd hearing us as we were going down the stairs too as I was having some small talk about asking for water, and as I mentioned, the table was right in the living room. Just not a good look if you are not telling your clients before hand that you are in a shared space. A tleast let me have the option to decide if I'll go with the booking or not or letting me know if the roommate will be there or not or possibly arrive during the session.
 
Another time, I hired a new guy and the appointment was at the same apartment of another guy I hired a few months back. I didn't see the other masseur but, yeah. That was kinda awkward.

We know you are busy and see other customers. But don’t let us know that we need to hurry because your next appointment is in 10 minutes. Do allow buffer time between appointments.

What you wear matters. You may think that since you’ll be naked and taking your clothes off anyway, that sweats is fine, but it generally isn’t. Look nice when you open the door.
 
Also confirm rates and amount of time spent before hand. Especially on masseurfinder, Some guys don’t click through to individual profile pages from the city page, and may ask think that your rate for everything is the rate that it says “starting at”. Heck - some don’t look at rates at all before they contact you. Make sure that all expectations are taken care of beforehand.
 
Be open to accepting different types of payment. Cash, the cash app, Venmo, square, etc - you’ll get asked about them all.
 
Also make the massage your own / special / unique.
 
If I can think of anything else I’ll add it, but these are some of my experiences that I’ve learned that haven’t been said already.
