  1. Thumbs down, pm for details

TOTALLY agree with @Hhuu . This guy is a nutcase. Don't let the hot pics fool you. I attempted to hire him a few weeks ago on a business trip, and he was prompt with text response, but from there it was ALL downhill. We booked a time at my hotel, and he kept jerking me around. One hour before he is supposed to show up, he texts and asks if we can move it one hour ahead (?) I was already hot to go, so agreed. Then he texts me 15 minutes before, and wants to change the time again! By now, I was getting pissed off, but gave him another chance. 10 minutes before he is supposed to arrive I get ANOTHER text asking if we can move it ahead another 30 minutes. I agree this one last time. Then at the agreed upon time, he is a no show! I text him and asks where he is. He says he is busy (?) and can we re-schedule. WAY to much drama with Damian. It ain't worth it. This dude has some serious issues. I would avoid him at all costs. He totally wasted almost my whole evening, the only evening I had off work. Hot guys like him feel that they can get away with this shit. I ended up immediately texting another masseur.....good looking guy.....not as hot as Damian, but a hottie. He was at my hotel within 30 minutes. NO drama and a great massage. Advice: Stay CLEAR of Damian, if you value your time and have no time for drama. This guy is trouble.

  2. If a masseur is offering me the convenience of using my credit card, I have no problem paying the 3% fee which averages around $4. If the feeling is the masseur can eat the $4, then we can eat the $4 just as easily. Can't believe people have a problem with $4 after paying in the range of $120 to $150/hr for their massage session. Seriously, $4 extra so you don't have to run to the ATM? I appreciate the professionalism of the masseurs that offer this option, and they offer it for OUR convenience, if we don't want to carry cash or travel to an ATM. If you don't want to pay the $4, there is an easy solution....bring cash. Can't believe that with all the real problems in the world this is even an issue. Let's all save it for the REALLY serious issues going on, not for $4 credit card fees. This is where things start getting petty.

  3. I prefer outcalls (masseur coming to me) for the basic reason that after the massage I can zone out in the comfort of my home. I don't even need to get dressed. Sometimes I even schedule the masseur to come in the evening and go right to sleep after the massage. After an incall ( me going to the masseur) I need to get dressed, leave, and either drive, Uber or take mass transit home. That blissful state leaves VERY quickly once you are out back in the real world. If you can host a masseur at your place, I say go for it!

  4. The tip off should have been the $80/hr rate. That is a sure sign it will be only therapeutic. By the way, Steven says in his ad that "additional services are extra". (I am really surprised MF let him put that in.....they are really strict about any sexual innuendo from their advertisers.)

  5. I see 2 issues with Theo here:

    1) Theo had agreed to a certain time frame and price with the client. When the session was "over" and Theo was still babbling, he should not charge the client for his excessive babbling. And if Theo was babbling, and was aware he was going to be charging extra than the agreed upon amount, he should have stopped babbling at that point and asked the client if he wanted to go an extra hour, and told him what the fee would be. What Theo did was wrong, asking for extra money, when Theo was the one that made the session run over.

    2) My biggest issue though was Theo's response. It was a complete turn off. It was cocky (really, starting out your response with a laugh?...hahaha) He was basically laughing off the whole thing, like it was no big deal, and on top of that called his client's review "weird". He already has an upset client, but showed no respect to this guy he took advantage of. His response was unprofessional, rude, disrespectful, and showed he could care less how he treats his clients. He is one escort I will be sure to avoid.

  6. Unprofessional masseurs with NO massage talent, who think they can charge outrageous hourly fees based solely on their hot looks. They open the door, strike a pose, put you on the massage table set up in the living room, show NO massage skills at all, and feel charging $180/hr for a quick rub and tug is justified since they are so hot. They do a lame 40 minute hour and rush you out the door afterwards, thinking it is all okay since they are so good looking.

  7. I recently hired an escort, for the first time in many years. There were a number of texts back and forth, as I’d started feeling insecure and hesitant to meet with a guy young enough to be my son (at least). He assured me that most of his clients are over 50, so we ended up getting together. He was very charming and even better looking than in his photos, and we had a nice, fairly vanilla encounter.

The following day I received a text from him asking how my day was going and what I was doing, and he sent a photo that showed off his large muscular ass, which I’d complimented him on throughout our encounter. There was some general chit-chat, then I suggested getting together later that day. No response. Some time went by and I wrote again to tell him how much I enjoyed meeting him and he sent an emoji blowing a kiss. When I asked again about getting together, he asked if I just wanted to hang out or to hire him, as he would rearrange some things if I were willing to pay him; otherwise, he was too busy that afternoon.

My first question is, Have you ever initiated a follow-up with a client? And does it seem like this guy was sending me mixed messages? Thanks for any insight.

As a client, I have this happen to me all the time. Escorts or masseurs contact me in a flirtatious way after a session. Always to drum up more of my business. For sure, he was fishing for another paid session with you. Escorts and masseurs schedules change by the minute. Business can be slow at 2pm....and suddenly at 3pm they can have 5 requests. That large muscular ass pic he sent was meant to enitice you....not for a great, free time, but for another paid time. Probably was a slow day for him. Good thing he had you clarify if it was for business or pleasure. By re-arranging things, he meant keeping his schedule open for your paid appointment. By saying if it was not for pay, he was to busy, to keep the time open for a paying client. Understandable, since if he was spending free time with you, someone else could text him last minute and he would lose that paying client. Although it is a pleasurable job for these guys, it is their job and how they pay their bills. Gotta respect that.

  8. Is strictly therapeutic and if he was inclined to do anything I made it obvious it would have been OK. For the record, I am in very good shape and in fact am a bit of a doppelganger with him body and looks wise (maybe that was the issue), but he exhibited no interest in doing anything beyond some Swedish strokes and Thai stretches. The massage itself was average. He remained clothed. He has a professional website and is licensed so I wouldn't say to get your hopes up. Also not on any of the racier sites such as rent masseur or rent men. Overall a nice guy though.

$150 for a 1 hr. clothed, strictly therapeutic massage with no HE is WAY overpriced.

  9. Ok, so yesterday I had a meeting with a cute guy who was briefly discussed here in the last few weeks. I had been corresponding back and forth with him on rent masseur and we agreed to a set time to meet up at his place (at hotel since he was visiting). I text him on the way and he knew approximately how long it would take, but with LA traffic one never knows.....anyway, just as I was arriving I received a text......need another 15 minutes. Ugh....I said ok since I was parked across the street from the hotel and I could just hang out and catch up on emails, etc. Then there started to be a lot of activity at the small hotel which culminated in 2 cops entering the lobby and a car that pulled up in front. Needless to say, I sort of freaked and got a little paranoid. I text the guy to say I was not comfortable with the delay and oh, btw, the cops are crawling all over this place. I was out of there.....

He text back a few minutes later very sincerely saying he was just running late and that he didn't know what was going on....declared he wasn't law enforcement and agreed to meet me for coffee or whatever since he felt bad. Said he understood and would have probably bolted too.....Long story short, I ended up meeting him anyway albeit about 45 min later and all was good - no law enforcement although he did have a decent gun on him. Would you have left to begin with?

Yes....the way you handled it was smart. Any bright person would have done what you did. With that being said, this masseur sounds like a keeper. The way he conducted himself was professional and classy. (he even agreed to meet you for coffee? sweet!) I know some masseurs that would have, wrongly, just blown you off as a flake and not texted you back, and would have dropped all communication with you. The fact he kept in communication with you thru this ordeal, agreed with you and understood, and on top of that honored your appointment 45 minutes later shows class and style. That masseur not only sounds like a winner, he sounds like a really nice guy. We need more like him in this profession!

  10. Agree. BigHandsome I think is a bit of a scam. If you read the reviews, all the 5 star reviews are quite lengthy raves, where they are booking 60 min massages and everyone of them has lasted 20 to 30 minutes longer (one reviewer even calls him a masseuse). The one 2 star review says although cute, the pictures aren’t really him and his massage only lasted 45 min. I’d avoid and spend $200 more wisely.

The BIGGEST red flag with all his rave reviews is that they are ALL written in broken English. His ad text says he is from Europe. So English being his second language.....EZ to figure out he wrote all those reviews. When these guys write their own reviews why do the make it so obvious they wrote them?

  11. I told him...”then don’t book the appointment” his response was “thanks for the advice”.

I am dumbfounded when masseurs act like this. From the way you were treated, Gerrard sounds like a first class asshole. Someone should make an appointment with Gerrard and stand him up. When he calls or texts you to see where you are tell him " I decided it was to early for me" That's called Karma :)

  12. When you encounter masseurs like this it is better to just stop the communication the MOMENT they start getting weird. I would have just stopped all communication after he blocked you. The guy was weird, so what sense is there in pursuing/engaging him by texting him? You are not going to use his services anyway, and do not need to justify or explain yourself to him. Best in these situations to just move on.

  13. Morning everyone just booked a massage with Rafaelnyc yesterday amazing time and amazing hands. Rafael is so humble, sweet upgoing and very open-minded and willing to try to new things. Rafael eyes shine in person beautiful men. And yes his photos are him I think he look better in person cause he is more than looks. I try him thru www.rentmasseur.com/rafaelnyc but he is also on RentMen and open to try new thinfs. He replies ASAP love it since I have a busy schedule myself. The massage itself quality 10/10 and he won't leave until I was completely Satisfy.

Oh no....here we go again. Just joined the Forum yesterday (?) and his first post is a rave "review" of Rafael in the same broken English that Rafael uses in his posts. (with all the misspellings, just like Rafael.) And the beat goes on......( and it is "outgoing" , Rafael.....not "upgoing")

  14. Massages that are explicitly described as more than therapeutic may put the forum at risk of violating recent legislation.

I agree. But if you read thru this forum about 80% of the posts are in violation. The most common question in most posts is : "Does he offer more than massage?" Such as the recent post "411 Any Good Bottom Masseurs In LA?" Does not get any more explicit than that as a thread.....

  15. 3 months ago Kev did respond, set an appointment two days in advance then an hour prior asks if its "ok" that his roommate is going to be in the other room. It was "ok" with him; but not with me.

    I passed, politely.

Although it was a last minute notice to you, I do admire the fact that he asked you before you arrived if it was okay. (maybe he expected to have the place to himself, and at the last minute could not.) I have had masseurs not ask, and I show up and there is a roommate in the other room. So kudos to him that he checked with you beforehand.

  16. Ever since a few sites shut down it is harder to find gay friendly massage therapists, or is it just me?

I used to use Craigslist a lot, because it had actual spas and such that catered to gays and sometimes went the extra mile. Also there were low key folks there that didn't advertise on massagem4m.com. Now that they are both gone what are the sources?

    masseurfinder.com seems ok

    rent.men seems more escorty

    Same with friendboy.pro

just curious if I missed out when folks changed platforms!

My go to place is Rentmasseur, where masseurs are not censored from describing the type of massage they offer, such as Sensual, Erotic, etc. I do NOT use Masseurfinder since the masseurs are censored on that site, and you have no idea what you will get. Another thing I find very helpful is just typing it in Google. If I am in NYC and want an erotic massage I just type "gay erotic massage New York City" on Google, and lots of sites come up.....some I have never even heard of. Give that a try.

  17. How do you contact providers on MF? I can’t find contact info on the ads

Contact info is removed between 12 Midnite and 6 am by Masseurfinder. This question comes up often in the forum. MF could EASILY solve this confusion by posting a banner between 12am-6am where the Contact info is located stating "Contact info is unavailable between 12 am-6am. Please check back after 6am to access contact information." But I guess that idea would be to logical for such a poorly run website :(

  18. I've been clicking through a few masseur ads tonight, and I don't see any contact info. Phone number usually appears above the pics on the right, just below the menu bar. Is this a browser issue, a controversy that I've missed, or a new constraint on the Masseurfinder site? I've never created a client account.

Also, the "sign up for free" link doesn't work. Another new feature?

This question has come up before in the forum. Masseurfinder, in a VERY lame attempt to appear as if they only have masseurs that provide therapeutic massage, and to keep the Feds away, removes all contact info between the hours of 12 Midnite-6:00am. Their reasoning is that no respectable masseur or client would be in contact during those hours, and that only illicit activities would occur then. (?) So they "erase"contact info during those hours. It is truly bizarre. If they want to REALLY appear as if their masseurs ONLY provide legit massage, they would have masseurs post only ONE face shot photo, not 6 or 7 pics in various poses. (what client who wants a legit massage needs 7 photos of their masseur before hiring??) They would also have a max price point a masseur can post. ( seriously, $160 for a 1 hr therapeutic massage? Strictly therapeutic massage price point is $85/hr....not $160) MF has it backwards. If they want to keep the Feds away, THOSE are the red flags, not contact info visible 24/7.

  19. Although I agree it is WAY unprofessional to ignore a text or phone call from a prospective client, this can all be summed up with the following re: masseurs who do not respond : "The masseur is booked and busy and does not care about your text or phone call. " Hence, you will get no response. If I get no response after a few hours, I move on. They lost my business, and I will GLADLY give it to the deserving masseur who responds. They will get rewarded for their professionalism with my business and $$$
