Organ Donor: reasons NOT to be one??...be a devil's advocate
Gvtire replied to + azdr0710's topic in The Lounge
No, but an organ recipient. Going on three years no problem with rejection or any other problems knock on wood. There are different reasons why people aren't donors such as culturally, pre-pre existing medical conditions. For years you were banned from ever donating organs if your HIV+, now they are using organs from HIV+ donors, to HIV+ recipient with great success. -
They are. They’re just not called so. Because they are the children of one of the sovereign’s sons, they are entitled to be known as Princess Louise and Prince James of Wessex (their father’s territorial designation.) However, given their placement int he line of succession and their desire to give them a less restricted uprbringing, their parents have chosen to have them “styled” (using the title of) the children of an earl (Prince Edward is the Earl of Wessex.) So Louise is known as Lady Louise Windsor (An earl’s daughter is called “Lady FirstName” and “Windsor” is the Royal family surname.) Her younger brother James is known as Viscount Severn, a lesser title of his father’s (standard for the oldest son of an earl or any other peer.) Theoretically, when they are grown up, if they prefer to be known as Princess Louise and/or Prince James, they have the legal right to do so

Actors you can't stand (mannerisms, voice, looks, roles chosen, etc.)
Gvtire replied to samhexum's topic in Comedy & Tragedy
[quote="bostonman, post: 1429156, member: 4409"t just put me off. In her case, I also regrettably list one actual child actor - I say regrettably, because I don't think it's great form to criticize young performers in general - but I've always thought that Danielle Brisebois, the girl who became the new regular character on All In The Family once Struthers and Reiner had left, was just out of her league. Not much spark on camera, and she always sounded like she was reading her lines for the first time. She was in the original cast of Annie on Broadway, so I tend to wonder if she was better suited for the stage than for the camera. But the result is that those set of episodes really went downhill. (I also think the departure of Struthers and Reiner had a lot to do with that, but casting Brisebois wasn't the answer.) She is a successful singer/songwriter now. Sue wrote Unwritten and Pocketful of Sunshine for Natasha Bedingfield. She was also in the The Radicals -

Well you have your dress shoes, work shoes, casual shoes, tennis shoes, sandals/flip-flops,other types and seasonal shoes in various colors and material. Then there are the times when you go to the shoe store and you just can't pass up the deal. For example I was at Ralph Lauren outlet about 10 years ago during Father's Day and they had a pair of alligator loafers marked down and with the Father's Day discount of 25% I end up paying around $35 for the shoes. As for outfits all I'll say is we converted a bedroom into a closet for me and I could use still use more room.
