  1. I think I paid between US$75 and $125 or so for erotic massages? And I probably paid Adriano $25-$50 to come out with me and be my translator at BB Show Bar.
  2. Sorry, I have not been checking the forum lately. Here's a link to my review of Adriano: https://daddysreviews.com/venue/latin/mexico
  3. I made a quick trip to Montreal last weekend. I stayed at the Hotel Gouverneur. My room had no heat, so I got upgraded to a nicer room with a great view on a higher floor. (The hotel is pretty run-down, so even the nicer rooms are a little shabby. But the location and the price make it more than worth it for me). The bars were a mixed bag. I like Adonis, but it was dead both times I went there. Taboo was rocking on Saturday night; they were celebrating an anniversary (26th? 28th), and they had lots of dancers working. There was a guy on stage just about nonstop. Lots of customers, too. I had a great private with John Lion, a handsome Greek guy who used to dance at Adonis; he is hung and very interactive. Taboo was completely dead the next night - handful of customers, no dancers on stage or anywhere in the bar, as far as I could tell (perhaps they were in the back, but I did not stay to find out). Oddly, two of the dancers who worked at Taboo on Saturday were dancing at Adonis on Sunday. I had always thought they could only dance at one club at a time. Not sure if I was wrong about that being the rule, or if something else was going on. I spent half an hour at Stock, but it was pretty quiet. There was one really hot dancer there who I remembered speaking to on a previous visit. Something about him had turned me off (I don't even remember what it was), so I ended up not doing a private with him. I was hoping to get him into the back quickly this time, before I remembered what I didn't like about his personality ( rude, I know), but he was busy and I was impatient, so I left. Campus was really good this time. I had a couple of very fun privates with Phillip, who is cute and sexy and mischievous; and with Matthieu. I had a few mediocre ones too, but the good ones more than made up for it. I also got a great massage from Finn (https://rentmasseur.com/finn) - serious massage with really sexy erotic elements. All in all, a very good visit. Ichabod
  4. I had a weird experience with Ricotheplumber a while back. The guy who showed up is not the guy in the pix. DM me if you want more info. Ichabod
  5. Thanks, Parker.
  6. Has anyone met up with him? I am heading to Montreal next weekend and I am doing some advance research. http://hourboy.com/Mam I feel like I vaguely remember him being discussed, but I do not see anything when I search the forum. Thanks, Ichabod
  7. Does anyone know what happened at the Adonis 9th anniversary party this past Saturday? Tim's email yesterday referred mysteriously to some kind of malicious "interruption," but I have no idea what he's talking about. Anyone care to explain? Here's that section of the email: But before all that good stuff, obviously we had quite the distraction for those of you who were there. Anyone who knows me or has followed Adonis over the years knows I'd make a very lousy press agent and/or spokes person, as I'm no fan of speaking in platitudes or creating false narratives to try and make me/Adonis look good when challenges are thrown our way, of which we've had many in our 9 years. I simply respect the intelligence and character of those who support these events too much to be untruthful. I'll keep things short and to the point, as overall the night was great, The interruption we experienced was obviously not random and clearly motivated by malice. That being said, I'm neither upset by it nor do I somehow feel like a victim. This is what I signed up for. I'm not the only one who experiences challenges related to their work or life. The lessons I've learned through this vehicle called Adonis are truly a gift, both good and bad. Responsibility is a gift. Accountability and the constant opportunity to work on and improve my own personal leadership skills, of which I fail routinely in pursuit of, are also blessings.
  8. I stayed at the Room Mate Valentina hotel on Amberes (where there are several gay bars). I requested a room on a high floor after reading online about how noisy the street can be at night (with all the clubs), and that worked out well. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were helpful, and they did not hassle me about bringing guys up to my room. I had a good time at BB Show Bar on my second visit, when I hired Adriano (great escort/masseur - review submitted) to translate for me. I had gone on my own earlier in the trip; I don't speak Spanish, and that made it too hard to chat or negotiate private dances with the strippers. Adriano was a great translator and go-between, as well as good company. I hired several guys while I was there, all from either mileroticos.com or rentmen. Prices seemed to range between US$75 and US$150; I think you could negotiate lower prices, probably. I had 3 really good experiences, one so-so (but that one was a combination of language barrier and me not having been clear in advance about what I wanted). I love Mexico City. The metro is really easy to use, there are great museums, good gay scene, and it's so cheap. Can't wait to go back. Ichabod
  9. His ad seems to be gone.
  10. Great report, Karl-G. Philippe sounds very familiar. Is he a boxer? If it's the same guy, I met him a while back at Taboo (he was visiting and playing pool with a friend from his hometown), but he was dancing at Adonis (or whatever the last incarnation was called). Very fun in back; he kept peeking into the adjacent booth in an impish way.
  11. Thanks, all. I am in Mexico City now and this has not been a problem. I have to go down and escort my visitors up, but they have not had to provide ID or sign in or anything like that. Ichabod
  12. Hi guys, I am planning a trip to Mexico City later this month. I will probably stay in an international chain hotel in or near the Zona Rosa. Will I have any trouble bringing working boys back to my room? It seems like they monitored the elevators pretty closely the last time I was there (although I did not try to bring any gentleman callers to my room on that trip). Thanks, Ichabod
  13. Remingtons is still open. I was there in April.
  14. I think Stock is usually closed on Mondays, Penn7, but I see on their website that they'll be open on Memorial Day.
  15. I was in Montreal for 5 days this week and thought I'd report on my experiences in the strip clubs. I have had a good time at all 4 bars over the years, so I always check them all out. Taboo: I only went to Taboo once and did not stay long; there were only 2 dancers (very nice-looking twinks Marco and Fred), and fewer than 5 customers; it was a rainy Tuesday night, so that may have been the problem. Someone in another thread was asking about the lack of curtains in the private dance cubicles. I did not check it out this trip, but I will say that lack of privacy has never seemed to inhibit the Taboo dancers. Stock: I had a very good private dance on Sunday night with Pepe (as in LePew, he said), a tall muscular Quebecois dancer. He seemed very straight, but he was very friendly in the back room. I also poked my head in to Stock that same rainy Tuesday night, and it was as dead as I have ever seen it. A big group of dancers was gathered around the near end of the bar, and one shouted out "Hey, come back!" as I made my escape. Campus: I stopped in to Campus twice (Monday and Tuesday - I tried all 4 clubs that night), and it was pretty low energy both times. On Monday there were long breaks between dancers on stage; I stayed for one drink and none of the dancers ever approached me. On Tuesday, the stage shows were more steady, but it was still slow. There was some sort of bad feeling among the dancers, with one guy seeming on the outs with the others; it looked like a fight might break out a few times, but nothing ever happened. Multiple handsome dancers came up and talked to me, and I had a great private with Daniel, a young black/mixed race guy who said he'd only been working there a couple of weeks - muscular, hung, very enthusiastic. Adonis: I have always liked this club more than some posters, and Adonis (now open 7 nights a week - Lux was only open 5 nights) was the clear winner this trip. I went three times, and it was consistently busier and livelier than Stock, Campus, or Taboo. It is true that some of the dancers here (and this has been true when it was JP's and Lux, too) are unhealthy looking and unattractive. There is one dancer who is very overweight and appears to be in his mid-40s, at least; I thought he was a customer at first. But it's also true that I have had some really good private dances here. John (handsome young Asian guy with a very sexy body, great dancer) did a good private dance with me. I also had a good experience with Jimmy, tall brunette with a big cock who used to dance at Taboo; he is very accommodating if you're willing to pay his price. Jonathan, handsome young straight guy with a good body, is friendly in a sort of charmingly gawky way. I am pleased to have Adonis back up and running again. But it is - to my mind - largely unchanged from its previous incarnation; if you did not like Lux, you probably won't like Adonis, either. Ichabod
  16. "I recognized one from last year whom I had taken back to my Air BnB. He colored his hair blond and apparently "knows" every customer very well. Eww!" This is odd. He had sex with you, which is fine. He has sex with other men, which is disgusting?
  17. Has anyone met with this handsome Russian? https://rent.men/Lacmus I don't see any reviews or previous mention of him here. He is going to be visiting DC later this week, as am I. He responded quickly to my email through rentmen. Thanks, TinoNC
  18. I saw him for a massage many years (10+, I think) ago, too. He was great - very sexy, nice guy, good massage, very interactive.
  19. This seems like the next step toward eliminating these ads altogether. I logged in to Backpage as though I was going to post an ad, to see what I could find out. There is no way to enter text. The social media field is required, so they have to enter something (hence all the dead links to nowhere). They say you can't post dick pix (although maybe it always said that? I don't know). But it's a real loss to those of us who don't live in a major city with lots of hiring options. Backpage used to be the best venue in placed like Raleigh, but it's almost useless at this point. Ichabod
  20. Has anyone tried Basmie in NY? He's new on RM: https://rent.men/basmie/ The text of his ad is odd, but there is something about his pix that I find appealing. Thanks, Ichabod
  21. I spent a week in Santo Domingo a few years ago, and I loved it. I do not speak any Spanish, and that was a bit of a challenge sometimes; but mostly it was fine. Remember that lots of Dominicans travel back and forth to NY, so a fair number of people speak some English. I never felt unsafe walking around, but I am a fairly cautious person and probably avoided anything risky without even thinking about it. I went out to two gay bars while I was there, both fine, neither of them anything special. Dominican men are very handsome and sexy; I was in heaven just looking. You have to leave town to go to the beach, I think. I spent a day at Boca Chica, which is not far from SD, not at all glamorous, and quite cheap - lots of budget hotels aimed at European travelers. Boca Chica is where I experienced the only really bad thing about the trip: endless hawkers walking the beach, constantly trying to sell you something. I got that a little bit in the city, with tour guides and vendors aggressively offering their goods and services. But at Boca Chica it was nonstop, including many prostitutes (only women, unfortunately). The only way to avoid that is to make arrangements to spend the day at a hotel with an enclosed beach - it does not fend off all the vendors, but cuts down on the traffic a bit. I did not have sex while I was in Santo Domingo, although I was approached a couple of times on the street in SD by guys who were clearly available for the right price. I was staying in a place where it would have been awkward to bring someone back to my room. A week is probably too long to stay there, but I definitely recommend it if you're looking for something a bit more adventurous than the typical resort vacation. There are caves with cave paintings not far outside of town; I would love to get to see them sometime (and I would definitely hire a guide for something like that). Ichabod
  22. I think 75 sounds right. That's about how old my parents were when they died. That's a good long life. Of course, it's fine to think about it, and I do, as though you control it. But then events can intervene. My mother had a stroke a year before she died, and I am sure she would have preferred to skip that final year.
  23. Has anyone gotten a massage from Nikos? Strictly therapeutic, or up for more? He is on the road and headed my way soon. Thanks, Ichabod
  24. I have been wondering about "the state of Ste. Catherine" (as nynakedtop called it) too. All those vacant buildings! That seems like prime real estate. Why is it not being redeveloped? It certainly seems like there is plenty of construction going on in the city. Does anyone know if there are specific issues in Montreal that make it hard to get permits, or hard to get redevelopment loans? Or anything about the neighborhood? It strikes me every time I'm there.
