That's why I don't participate in the shaving and adding numbers game. Its bull shit and I refuse to play it....EVER! My height, weight, sick size and age are all accurate. And there's a number of people on the board who can voucher for most of all. If someone does not show up as advertised or can't perform send them home. I don't know why this is just a hard concept to follow. If you buy a TV and it doesn't work would you keep it?

Caveat: You'd best know what you're doing, and not just giving him a rub +/- a tug. Otherwise, it's kind of like bringing a ham sandwich to a banquet.

Even if "I'm available" I'd likely need a couple of hours before I could meet a client. I'm likely doing other activities concurrently and not just sitting at home waiting for a client to book me... And I do prefer advanced bookings whenever possible so I can plan for it accordingly .

I definitely prefer advanced bookings. It’s way easier for me to schedule something than to randomly be ready to run. Especially since I’m very much willing to travel anywhere in NYC, but certain parts can certainly take time to get to by train from wherever I’m at.

I feel like I tend to get contacted by people who are looking for right now. I believe I missed out on at least two clients this week because they reached out to me while I was at my day job and they were looking for right now. Ah well.

I prefer to plan things out as well. Even a few hours heads up helps out alot. I want to look my best and that's not going to happen if someone contacts me at 10pm and asks for me at 1030pm. Not to mention I'm in California where traffic is always a Hot Mess! When I get those "Right Now" requests....I take a moment...look at the time and carefully evaluate how long it will take me to comfortably get ready and arrive. I communicate that. If they say that is not soon enough...I appologize and wish them luck...and turn my Hulu back on and continue with my evening. It is interesting that there is a different mentality between A4A and RM though as far as preference for "Right Now" or "Planning ahead". I don't advertise on A4A right now, so I don't know of that experience. Hearing about the preference of others on RM I feel that my ad is on the right site. lol

I've only been at it for a year. But so far it's been a mixed bag. With Memorial Day coming up I am curious too. I'm finding busier times actually come for us due to what conventions are going on in town more than a holiday though. Probably onto something about clients being busy with friends or families during Holidays.

I used to think that quasi-holidays (Columbus Day, et al) were good for work: half the couple is off to work and the other half gets it off (as it were).

They say there's no rest for the weary. Many professions have to work holidays. And those times can be very lonely for some clients.

Cuts both ways. On one hand you'd like to be friends/family, but on the other, money for time spent is earned money. Guess it depends on what you have planned...

Lol, you're right but....I was trying to use pronouns to get my point across, and avoid pulling the "card" that starts with R, lol.

Maryland is usually the least busiest part of the metro in terms of clients go. Virginia is a bit more happening of the two.

By all means, still go if you want. I'm just speaking relatively. I remember my first time to Washington D.C. was magical. I felt all presidential, stayed at a high-rise Hyatt, and had clients back to back the whole trip. However, that was pre-Trump era. Now, everyone is being as obnoxious as him out here. Then again, it's probably been that way.

And yeah, I'm trying to get this 23 year old boy to be my travel secretary, because traveling gets to be overwhelming to an extent. Plus, I've had multiple occasions where people have started shit with me, simply because I'm alone and they're a with another person, which in their mind equates to : more importance. I had to curse a bitch and her husband out on my first day in D.C. because of that. Had a situation like that couple years ago, some gay couple trying to usher me around at the hotel bar. Never again.

I may be 1 person, but I let it be known, I am nobodies servant and won't be pushed around.

Some people just don't understand, no matter how you explain it. But, sometimes it takes a deeper level of knowledge and understanding to get WHY some places don't work for everyone. So, I wouldn't pay it no mind.

I can talk about Kansas City all day, because I used to go through there all the time...like I said, since 2010. One of my favorite clients was from there.

However, the place itself is ultra conservative mentally. Plus, some areas perceive "us" differently than others. Omaha, Nebraska is not far from KC, and has a similar vibe. There's just an aura of intolerance that I can just feel. I feel like some cities, they're used to seeing "us" guys mopping floors and doing service industry work, so when you're asking for $200+ for "companionship", it just seems foreign concept to them.

I've run into a handful of crap in KC that makes me not like going there, beyond clients. One bitch was trying to give me a lecture about having a Florida's license with a Colorado addres. Bitch, you work behind the counter at Wal-Mart, not the DMV. Plus it wasn't expired for another 4 years.

It's like some cities like to purposely make people feel marginalized. And St. Louis isn't any better.

Idk, I don't think that's harsh at all, especially considering what I posted above. He just mentioned a couple places that he found to be not worth the hassles of visiting. No reason in trying to keep on going, when there's other cities that'll produce better results for that person.

The first part of getting a loyal clientele is to actually meet them. In some cities, the meeting never takes place, thus building a loyal clientele becomes impossible.

For example: I was in North Carolina the other week for a couple days. I had my main client, but then needed to wait around for a couple days before I started my next trip. Two clients inquired about an appointment, one even sending a photo...then the MoFoes tell me they decided to "make other plans" after I attempted to set up a time THEY requested.

These aren't just cancellations, it's just MoFoes being MoFoes.

Alrighty. I’m from Houston, and I like Kansas City as a city. And I’ve been going there regularly since 2016 - my last trip was in March; I’m not saying this based off of one trip. And I’ll most likely visit the city because bbq (q39 and charbar) concerts, and the general feel of the city. And it’s a straight shot up 35 from OKC so I can be there in no time.

But Not every city is great for every guy, as @Mocha has pointed out. And some of the cities he points out I agree with but some I don’t. Not to mention, that’s exactly what mocha is doing, so to call me out singularly seems odd.

I’m sayinv I’ve had great success in nearly every city I’ve been to. But sometimes the factors for success in one city can outweigh the others.

I was more getting st the doors to the rooms at the hotel. As in don’t stay in a motel in most cases; stay in actual hotels.

Like @MichBoyBlake said, it provides some buffer. Not only that but it gives off the impression of being a little classier. Even clients have said “don’t stay in a hotel where the doors are outside” so they may look for it too.

Personally I'm horrible and I actually prefer staying at places where the doors are on the outside, although I'm not saying I prefer fleabag motels either. I'm not the person you're asking obviously, but I think if I were to stay at a hotel that I planned on meeting clients in, I would definitely want it to be not just doors on the inside, but also the type of hotel that has a small bar and maybe even a small restaurant inside as well; I would feel more comfortable with the added buffer of a lobby that's relatively busy most of the time due to amenities offered by the hotel.

If the client is just walking right up to your room door from their car, it completely removes that buffer.

I agree overnight/multiple hour clients are tough to come by. I've got a couple regulars, but the rest are just one or two hour appointments.

Maybe I’m in the wrong here, but I’d never base a trip completely off of one client.

And overnights / multiple-hour clients can be harder to come by than you make it seem. I have a few but they’re the overwhelming minority.

Yet is such a competitive market some escorts have given up going there.

With regard to bareback, if they list "ask me" or "anything goes" on their profile, I assume they do bareback with clients (which is not automatically a disqualification for me). With regard to STDs, of course you can ask. The question is how much confidence you should have in the answer.

And if you always use condoms with escorts, why does it matter if they bareback with others. If you are not confident that condoms will protect you from HIV, you shouldn't be doing this.
