There is definitely an evolution to these things. People get some skills with web development and/or media and can produced a more and more polished scam. When the message is "it's in your interest to trust me, stranger", or variations thereof, back away.

Do we extend the argument to include, for example, all the guys on Seeking Arrangements who have variations of "straight but broke and desperate" in their ads? I'm not trying to trivialize or dismiss the question. When you aren't creating the circumstances of their situation, and they are the ones who have taken that first step, at what point is it exploitation?

Yup, had a gun battle with Florida deputies and lost. I remember him from his early Da Vinci Load work, very sexy back then. A reminder if anyone needed one that appearance has nothing to do with the kind of person under the hood.

Gabriel Knight of "Wet Palms" fame - and apparently only that. I gather he was a go-go boy, quite str8, and rather difficult to work with in front of the camera (not that he actually did anything more than a solo). I'm sure that's true. Still, I wonder how many guys like Reno Gold are pulling down six figures from OF. It isn't to say that it isn't work, no less so that being a model or doing porn.
