Agreed. To be fair, bodybuilders are just not my type - nothing on guys who are into that sort of thing, it's just a turnoff for me at some point of "inflation". It's particularly so in Jake's case for me, since I knew him (to the extent that chatting and paying for a cam model's attention qualifies as knowing them) back in his earliest days. He definitely WAS my type back then, in appearance and (I thought) personality. He was still a bit cocky even back then, but very eager to please. I do wonder if he'd be happier having going into fitness instead of bodybuilding and worked as a trainer or something. I gather it's tough making any sort of living as a bodybuilder. To your last point, I wonder how hot a guy would have to be in order for it to BE acceptable to be tricking and flaking on clients? That's probably good material for it's own thread.

The effort that goes into maintaining an appearance, to producing photos and/or videos, to actually perform sexually. I don't want to be dismissive of anything.

I do wonder about the percentage of IG eye candy who are actually making a living based on their looks, versus those working say retail to pay the rent. If attractive people of any type are becoming commoditized, one of would think it would become harder and harder to achieve success that way. Being pretty wouldn't be enough, there would have to be a spectrum of effective porn, actual porn, favors for a few, favors for many, etc. Even in my own career (IT), there is a constant stream of younger, more X people willing to do my job for less money, as I suspect is the case with many fields. Experience and skill are the only counters to that, but I wonder if it is that much harder for people in industries based even partially on looks.
