This is a case with a dancer at an Adonis night: I had a few dances with him over the course of the night (2-3 songs a time) and he was fun of course…and by the end of the night he started calling me his boyfriend and I know it was a way for him to get more dances but he also said ‘you’re a nice guy, I like you’ in broken English…again it’s a gimmick to get more money from me but I also think it’s not a good business practice…someone may take that very seriously and make things weird..:I had not been to Adonis event in awhile so maybe this is a common thing?

I’ve had a similar problem with the private gallery. Sometimes it shows up in the messenger box or email before but nothing now.

I started chatting with him about a week and a half out…I was in NYC from the end of June to July 4th…so I wanted to see who was actually going to be around…but yeah nothing was real concrete until the day of with plenty of time to spare if it didn’t pan out

Was able to read the reviews on RM. All of them positive…the review stating his pics were outdated disappeared…so I took the plunge! I would repeat he is a very nice guy and has a good attitude. Pics are accurate. Sounds like he’ll be in Minneapolis for a bit for school

Yes I understand there is a risk. Each time I’ve paid first there has been at least some small talk, a hug…so if it was an immediate request like before I even entered the room I’d probably walk away…and for the most part they had great reviews from here and RM…there was one time I paid first and did make me a little nervous because there was very little talk of him on here but he turned out to be one of my best hires

I would never do a deposit before meeting…but I have paid upon arrival when the provider asks. Sometimes it’s because I am anew client of there’s and for others they say they say they want to get the “business stuff” done right away. Thankfully I haven’t been scammed when I pay first and it does seem to make the encounter more fun and relaxing…by the end it seems like you were two friends having fun and sometimes forget I even payed 🙃

I was in communication with him at first on the RM messenger and then through text. At first communication was easy and I asked him for a face pic and he said sure and never sent it…followed up a day later and still didn’t send it…ended up moving on. It’ll be the standard for him because he would not be aware that he is even acting like that…same with the abrupt texts as well as the aggressive he tries to bring in business. I am not sure how much could change even if he was made aware of his actions. On the other hand when I was with him in person he wasn’t aggressive in any way and it was an overall positive experience. The conversation was a little awkward and then after learning more about him all his behavior made sense including the communication via text and on RM messenger prior to meeting. He’s not trying to be rude or aggressive or, however you want to describe it, it’s how he’s wired.

I’ve tried to meet up with Kai for awhile and I was finally able to when I was NYC a few weeks ago. Communication was a bit abrupt but didn’t detect any attitude. He was super patient and friendly. I suspected that he had something going on just based on our in-person interactions like very little eye contact, difficulty making conversation and did not seem to understand sarcasm. You could chalk it up to nervousness but it seemed more glaring than simple nervousness. When we were done with our session he divulged some information that tied that all together that I won’t share publicly because that’s his business and I hope I didn’t share too much info myself

Hello all, I was at Adonis last night and one of the guys said he would be at Nowhere bar this evening. Is it similar to Adonis or Buff Daddy’s? Also it says on the website it says they require a hard copy of your vaccination card…I have a picture of mine but sure if that still counts?? thanks

It is the summer job. Traveling occupational therapy assistant. My hope is that it turns into an extended vacation of sorts...after my 13 weeks are up at this first place I could potentially stay in Virginia or go somewhere completely different (within the US).

No more Scottsdale either 🤨. I am headed to Virginia! Just a few hours outside of DC. I found an Air BnB to stay at for the whole summer. So I hope to be able to go to DC at least 2 or 3 times. Feels pretty surreal at the moment as I have never done anything like this before, so should be an exciting adventure.

Thanks for all the advice/tips but the whole job fell through. Pretty bummed I think a summer in DC would have been fun. The next opportunity is now in east Texas or Scottsdale.
