Went to 27 Spa yesterday since I was near Penn and had time to kill. Had a relatively tall white guy (without glasses) who had an accent that I couldn’t place. I don’t know if it was Yura or Ahmed, but I don’t think it was Mike only because I couldn’t hear his name when he told me twice and by that point I was like “I’m not asking this poor guy to keep repeating his name all day, it’s not that important.”
 
Anyway, not a great experience, bordering on bad.
 
I will say this to all masseurs who read here: LISTEN to your customers, both verbally and body language! If I’m pulling my arm or leg away from you and grunting because it hurts, don’t keep doing whatever you’re doing! Especially when I asked for light touch at the beginning and throughout. The finish was completely and overwhelmingly mechanical and a glove was involved. A glove!

It did. But closed again til June 1 for more construction / maintenance. It's on their website.

I've had this happen twice at "strictly" therapeutic places. In retrospect, I'm not exactly sure how or why they happened at a legit place. Perhaps the masseur was in the mood. Maybe I was their type (chemistry). Or perhaps it was just a slow day and they were workin' the tips - But I didn't ask for it and I didn't drop any hints.
 
If I really thought about it the common factor is that I tend to treat people with respect and courtesy. I do like a little conversation prior to session. During which I treat them like a human beings who matter and not a means to a [happy] end. When I go in for a 60 minutes massage my only expectation is for a good massage... for 60 minutes. After that it's up to the parties involved and not an written agenda I hand the masseurs when I tromp in. I'm not sure I would want to be treated like a 'Have it Your Way' Burger King employee, so I don't treat others like that. It goes a long way.

Did they say when the construction will start? I've been to Premier 57 it was a nice place inside. Anyone ever been to K-Town? I've heard about it but haven't been yet.

true confession - Im in my 30s, healthy and in shape, no ED problems. I had a guy offer me exactly that early this year. We were working out at the same time in an hotel-gym, and he suggested it for afterwards.
 
I like getting massage regularly so I was intrigued. I told him I’m only a top. He knew the masseur was gay and said he’d be good in a 3way. I bet they’re just being cheap about the laundry service to keep a supply of towels going. I was annoyed previously that they did such a poor job of enforcing nudity in the men’s area before, with some guys going in wearing bathing suits. I don’t expect them to suddenly be interested in being more authentic. They’re just trying to save money on washing towels.
 
But that seems gross. At other Korean spas I always use the little towels to sit on so I don’t sit on someone’s butt sweat. I think people should complain to the manager and on Yelp.

So the "official" reason as to why no towel is because it's to "messy" I've complained saying it gets hot in steam room and i would like to sit on it. If alot of people complain and say other spas allow you to use towel maybe just maybe they will allow us again. I think the real reason is so they can check who is hard and who is playing in the steam room. there is a guy that walks by what seems like every 10 secs to check. Do they have signs up saying no towles? when I went on friday it was just a guy telling us but a few didn't listen. once your in with a towel they cant tell you no
