Perusing SA is an interesting exercise. I spent a little time scanning profiles and saw several people I knew/know including a companion I saw fairly consistently (I.e. 2-3 times/week for ~4 months) but disappeared. There's a number of guys who had been actively on RM and M4RN but fell off the radar, in some cases with completely different back stories (e.g., guy who was fairly well reviewed and I informally understand had several upscale clients but dropped his ad a few months ago; his SA profile says that he is homeless and living in an abandoned building.)
 
I was amazed at the number of people who seemed entitled ("impress me" & "in need of champagne and caviar")... One guy in search of an arrangement has a photo perched on the hood of a late model Mercedes and another pics from Paris and what looks like a Mediterranean coastal spot.
 
Some stories are sad - broken relationships and broken people - and others reflective of youthful wide-eyed excitement at the possibilities of life.

Thanks for sharing your experience. You got very good advice here to take care of yourself first. As others mentioned, an escort's profile will sometimes state no judgement or all are welcome, which is a good sign, but it's never safe to assume anything before a first meeting. Will it bother you to check for racial hang-ups first, or no big deal for you to state that up front? I think that's the question you need to answer.
 
To be honest, it never occurred to me that an escort would have a problem with a client's heritage. That's outrageous, and I'm sorry you went through it.

If it makes you feel more comfortable making sure one is ok with whatever race you are do it. People have their preferences. Me personally I don't care what race someone is. To me, sexy is sexy regardless of ones skin tone. Yes, I have been asked if I am ok with seeing black, white, asian and latino. I wasn't raised to see color first or third. I was raised to see the person as an individual first and foremost. Are they a good person? Do they treat others well? Etc. How a person treats themselves and others is what is important to me, not the color of their skin. Good and bad come in all colors.

I think it's fair and reasonable for a client to share at least basic stats with an escort - whatever they may be - along with other pertinent information. We all have different tastes, and some men enjoy overweight guys. As escorts, we sometimes are hired by guys who aren't our particular tastes, but I personally find that if I have at least a little clue about what this person looks like, I can find a way to eroticize the encounter and the guy so I can bring my best self to the session. That said, if someone doesn't volunteer this information, it isn't a deal breaker for me. It's just more helpful if I have it.
