To the best of my knowledge, there is no single set of operational standards that every escort must follow (except possibly in your head). Maybe you should publish a book of operational standards for the escort industry and get it approved by the escort certification board.

Perhaps T3's characterisation of why a potential client would not pre-meet or send a pic was ill-advised (as he acknowledged), and perhaps any attempt to explain why they would not do so is similarly ill-advised. But that is his business model and it seems to work for him. Your conclusion that you would not hire him is your prerogative. I would hire him, whether he would accept that hire is a separate question. At the moment it's all hypothetical anyway.

I have never met anyone who refuses to either send a face pic or meet up in person in advance if they prefer. It works for me and I really can’t understand why if it doesn’t work for a potential client they don’t just move on and forget about it. I know I have a lot to offer but I am sure there are many, many others that can provide the service under their terms. I agree that if it makes the client angry that is due to some serious self esteem issues.

I think clients often forget (or are unaware) that escorts receive a generous number of bogus inquries that sometimes lead to an address where no one is present, a hotel where the room number provided does not exist, or clients who completely ghost upon your arrival at the destination. Just as you, the client, are taking a gamble with booking an escort, an escort is taking a gamble by accepting an offer. It’s our time, and time..is money.
 
I’m not sure what city you live in, but here in New York, quite often, a potential client will send me a photo along with a description of himself, which while courteous is not necessary.. and quite frankly, I do not care. I am, however, very receptive to how one communicates and if a potential client is giving me bad or peculiar vibes, I’m asking some goddamn questions. Maybe it’s you? There are clients on power trips (as seen throughout this thread) meth addicts, upon many others who believe if you throw an escort $300 that’ll make them more enjoyable to be around, and baby..that’s not the case.
 
While that’s unfortunate an escort screened you so aggressively, humble yourself and remember just as you, the client, who does not want to provide a measly photo of yourself because of your insecurities, you are dealing with young men likely dealing with worse. Sometimes new to this profession..afraid, unsure and trying to figure out how best to navigate a plethora of temperamental clients. Empathize. We do it for you, all the time. I’m doing it right now. You’ll be okay. The talent pool is gargantuan, book someone else.

So we make more money when we are hotter, don't screen our clients, and treat our work as if it were another job?
It sounds like you are saying hot people are dumb but at least they make more money ;-)
 
Non of the escorts I know that screen clients turn them away because of their stats (or their race). Those that don't screen tend to end up bitching about their jobs more and find themselves in unsafe or unfortunate situations.

I can be attracted to any age, race, gender, or body type. All it takes is honesty. It's hard to know if someone is being honest if they aren't willing to share their stats and to talk on the phone with me before meeting. Discretion is important to me, but so is feeling safe and establishing a sense of trust. I don't judge clients who are unwilling to share information with me because I know they have their reasons not to, and because I know there are escorts who don't need that information that will better service their needs. To me, no one is just a client with money--and I don't want to be just action for the exchange of money. My sex work is also my sex life.

Suppose you need a root canal and you are really phobic about the pain. You ask your dentist to knock you out with gas and he refuses because he doesn’t like using it.
So the logical thing to do is find a dentist who is comfortable with gas.
Dentist #1 avoids having an unpleasant, uncomfortable experience that dentist #2 is quite happy with and you avoid an unpleasant, painful experience and get what you want the first time.
It’s not really reasonable to expect every dentist to meet your expectations. Fortunately there’s plenty of dentists and plenty of patients.

There is an urban legend amongst escorts, both male and female...that asking for a picture of the client will ensure they’re not being jammed by an undercover cop. The reason? Once that cops picture is out there, he may be walking into an ambush in the future. Again, the MM side of the fence gets less attention from law enforcement, but females out there routinely ask for pictures, won’t open the door if it’s not the guy in the picture...and generally, a detective isn’t gonna want his picture out there because he doesn’t know when he’s gonna be in the sights in the future. Just my 2 cents on why he was trying to get a picture.....and ESPECIALLY in Vegas, guys ask for pictures since that city chases hookers.

I understand wanting an escort that doesn't care what you look like. I don't understand the level of anger and disdain displayed in the OP that a particular escort doesn't operate that way -- especially given the reality that BaronArtz mentions above. If initial chatter makes an escort think, "gosh, this guy is going to be high maintenance" then the whole proposition might start to feel less attractive... leading them to resort to questions they might not normally ask.

I understand wanting an escort that doesn't care what you look like. Being able to see the beauty in every individual, no matter what they look like, is a wonderful thing to aspire to. I don’t think I’m naive in wanting every meeting to be a win/win - an experience we both enjoy. My experience is that if one person is unhappy then the other is unlikely to enjoy themselves.
If I walk into the room and the escort is clearly unhappy with what he sees then 1) I did a lousy job of screening HIM, 2) I’m pretty sure I’m going to get the vibe pretty quickly, and, 3) I’m going to decide if we should do each other a favor and terminate the meeting. I've learned the hard way that not doing #3 is going to make a bad situation worse. On a couple of occasions it’s gotten much worse.

Perhaps it is a case of common money power trip, pretty common amongst clients. Sex workers have the right to choose also, sorry if you do not like it.
If you prefer other business models, just move on, as some shared in this thread they wisely did. There is no need to come here to spit your disdain.

I subscribe to the theory that people are not machines. Not everybody is going to be enthusiastic about 'performing' with ME. I have no problem sending a picture or answering questions from a service provider.

I see where the comments come from and this is the only post I’m going to post about this. I did find out about the forums thanks to a couple of my regular clients and decided to join and saw all the positive comments. I want to thank you guys for the positive comments.
