Very much a YMMV situation. I had a massage from him and thought it was one of the best massages from a non-CMT I've ever had (and I get a lot of massages). Great pressure and works each muscle like he knows what he's doing. Yes, the bed isn't the best location to get a massage but it does allow for easier mutual touch (which he very much seemed to enjoy).

I've hired Jake 3 or 4 times now and I must say he is one of the best massage therapists around (and the extras are pretty great, too). I know he's been in LA for about a month or so, so maybe that had something to do with his lack of response.
