I keep my hair very short, so see my barber every two weeks, sometimes sooner if my, or his travel plans would put the next appointment beyond the normal next appointment. The couple of times I've called at the last moment to get in early, he's stayed late. He only charges $15, so I give him a $20 bill each visit. Christmas tip, $100 on top of the normal $20.

Don't know where you live, but Byerlys (when they were expanding in the midwest), had essentially the same thing at their prepared food counter. If you make your own, I use ore-ida unseasoned southwest hashbrowns (the small chunks). Thaw them for at least a 1/2 hour before. 1 cup diced onion, 1 can cream of chix soup, 1/2 cup butter, (I heat until just melted), 8 oz chedder (your choice mild or sharper), 16 oz. sour cream, salt an pepper however you want, and 3 cups or so of crushed (to your liking) corn flakes. Mix everything except corn flakes. Put into shallow glass/ceramic baking dish (9+ by 13+), sprinkle with corn flakes. Bake 1 hour (at least) in preheated oven @ 375. Enjoy Edit, I forgot, 2 lbs. hash browns

A potato casserole. Haven't made it for years because I think it's too fattening. Thawed hash browns, diced onion, butter, cheddar cheese, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, salt and pepper. Bake, and add corn flakes to the top later in the baking process for a crunchy topping.

New ad, only up for barely a month. Curious if anyone has met him yet. https://rentmasseur.com/Kennett

I declined. Stayed at a hotel. My sister-in-law was mad at me for over a year. (and I still think she is)

Just sent a card to him this weekend. (although, it was for his birthday)

Things that aren't there anymore: men's seamless turtlenecks

Bought many things in the past from Land's End. Very consumer friendly. But now, I limit myself to their outlet store. Just hasn't been worth the money lately. -
Make sure the condom is big enough.

Private Photos on RM : When to ask ?
+ bashful replied to nycbystander's topic in Questions About Hiring
I've only asked once via RM. Someone who posted an ad that he would be visiting in a month or so, had only one public photo, but several private/semi private. Wrote a short note instead of defaulting to the generic RM text. Never got a response, and he never visited. Another guy I actually met, and as I was dressing, asked for the password for private pics. Said he didn't remember. -
I remember, in the 60's, a yo-yo "champ" would occasionally visit outside a discount store, demonstrating yo-yo tricks. Most of us kids bought one after seeing that. Most of us couldn't perform the tricks we saw.

Every Friday night in the fall, it was rollerskating night at the recreation center by our house. I remember this song, and seeing my little brother kissing the girl who lived next door while this song was playing. Thanks for the memory.

How is he a "GREAT" doctor? So, stop and set down. Then go a little further. Stop and set down again. Etc. Sounds like your wonderful landlord would be willing to drive you, so just a matter of house to car, car to office, that no doubt will be handicap accessible.

I didn't serve, but three generations of my family have. Father, a brother, a brother's wife, and a nephew. Thanks to all the men, women, parents, kids, neighbors, and friends who have served.

Thanks for all your contributions here, and elsewhere, that have helped us in this hobby. All the best on your day.

Twice, as a gift, I've given a clock that projects the time on the ceiling. Both recipients have said how much they like it. I should get one for myself to replace the a 20+ year old digital Sony clock radio with green numbers I currently have. Might sleep better.

In my experience, the questions came well after the "newness" wore off. Like a couple of years.

He (or she) will at some point probably ask about past relationships.

If it's a small social gathering, whether male or female, I'll stand to greet new arrivals, to either introduce myself, or be introduced to those I've never met. Offering a handshake I think is best done standing.

"I really have to start picking up around the house"

Yes. Over 30 years ago. I still think about her.

It's a toss up. One side, few lived past their 70's. Other side, all lived well into their 90's. Three lived till 99.

Being retired, carrying money when I go out depends on my purpose. I no longer have a daily routine of commuting, spending 9+hours somewhere, and commuting home, or traveling to another city. Since I put all my purchases on a credit car for points, I sometimes go weeks with just a couple of dollars in my wallet if nothing special is going on. And, then sometimes, I make sure I have enough for the hourly rate, tips, cab fare or parking if needed, and a drink or two at the bar.

My new car has two clocks within a few inches of each other. One is digital in the infotainment screen, and the other is an analog clock. Thought it was one of those stupid designed by committee things that didn't make sense. Why put two clocks practically next to each other. Took a road trip in the summer, and when traveling into the next state in another time zone, the digital clock automatically changed. I now appreciate the digital clock is time where I'm at, and analog is time at home.
