  1. The hotel I was thinking about had a long funky Hawaiian name. So I don’t think it was the one you mentioned. I remember my friend telling me there was this huge black volcanic rock outside the lobby with ocean in the background. He said it was a view he would never forget.
  2. Wish I could’ve gotten lucky at RC Dana Point!
  3. Someone told me there was this hotel in Hawaii. As soon as you walk into the lobby, the wide view would just take your breath away. I can’t remember the name. Is it the Royal Hawaii Honolulu? Probably not.
  4. I stayed at the RC in Dana Point. It was nothing special.
  5. West Side Story is such a masterpiece. It’s still 99% relevant to this day!
  6. Well, this should belong to another topic, but in this regard, I loved the Four Season in Chicago and the Sanderson in London. Hate to sound like Mae West, but all things being equal, there is no comparison between a hot time in a fancy hotel and one at a Motel 6!
  7. The post below about 5-star hotels got me thinking about the hotels that I have stayed at. Which hotels that you have stayed at gave you the best impression, in the sense of luxury and service? For me, I have stayed at quite a few hotels both for business travels and pleasure (mostly for business) all over the world. I'd say my number one is a tie. First is a somewhat surprising choice of Boston Harbor Hotel. It's not the most imposing or the trendiest, but is super quiet, with courteous service (I remember two doormen opening the big front door for me at the same time) but not snobby. And I really loved the French style deco in their guest rooms. My co-number one is the Sukhothai in Bangkok. My god, the service there was just astonishing. Every server in the hotel, even if you just walk past them, would give you the warmest and sincerest smile and greeting that you have EVER seen. And they really go extra miles to serve you. Fontainebleau in Miami gets my bronze medal, tied with Aria in Vegas, which I think is very cool. As for chains, I think Four Seasons are quite good, but not as earth-shattering as my co-gold medalists. Ritz Carltons are hit and miss. Ws are just trendy.
  8. Uhm, that makes sense. I was trying to guess his heritage. Now you have mentioned it, he does look kinda Persian.
  9. Do you guys know what ethnicity/nationality is the last name "Mazdzer" from?
  10. I agree. The men's single figure skating has really passed him by. What is he really good at? Degree of difficulty? Heck no. He has never landed a quad in any competition and in Olympics he didn't even have the guts to give it a try. Artistry? Just in the U.S, Jason Brown is better. Femininity? Johnny Weird was better. Watching his couple interviews with Andrea Joyce (sp?), I didn't get the sense that he is that eloquent or even smart. The media is trying very hard to turn him into some kind of new age diversity gay icon, which he clearly cannot measure up to.
  11. The museum has much responsibility there. Global treasures like that should not be exhibited "naked." They should either be behind some type of glass screen or be kept with sufficient distance from viewing audience. Most of all, it's just a complete security breakdown.
  12. Too bad Gabriella Papadakis doesn't have much of a rack to show the worldwide audience. Had she been better endowed, they might have won that gold medal. A little peek a boo of her nipple just wouldn't be enough.
  13. Mirai Nagasu, with her triple axel, has an outside shot at a bronze, but more than likely the bronze will be between Kostner and the two Canadian girls. As for gold and silver, unless hell freezes over, will be between those two Russian girls. I couldn't care less who wins which actually.
  14. Yep, Morgan Cipres is cute too. It's funny that both Morgan and Bruno look sooo "Frenchy." I can't put my fingers on just exactly what they are, but their facial structures just look very typical French.
  15. He is hot, but a bit too “dramatic” or “artistic” for my taste. I’d much rather prefer Bruno Massot (a big, dumb, cute, and kind French teddy bear) or that big assed Italian icedancer/model, Matteo Guarise.
  16. Wow, I sure am glad Jonathan Pryce and his religious zealots are now up in smoke. While I don't like Cersei, I am glad she did this. My only regret for this outcome is the death of Margaery and Loras. I like Margaery and was hoping to see what she would have up her sleeves. It was kinda like promise unfulfilled. As for Loras, his death deprived us more guy on guy action.
  17. Totally agree. Upon first glance it was almost a bit shocking. Looks like a gorilla, in a good way.
  18. I need to first qualify my statement below: we are obviously using EXTREMELY high porn star standard when judging beauty. In real life I would never kick him out of bed. Now: This guy obviously has a nice ass, but I don't think he is that handsome.
  19. Adam Driver and Mick Jagger are just plain ugly. They are not beauties, conventional or not.
  20. DD: You banged a Bolshoi dancer??Wow, that's gotta be a holy grail on some guy's list! Another buckle on your belt! I am so impressed.
  21. Thanks. That's good to know. I thought "dwarf" was not a politically correct term either?
  22. I will take the face and mouth, but not the arms.
  23. Sebastian Koch is hot when he is NOT clean shaven. But a midget? (Or should I use a more politically correct term such as "little people" or "height challenged people?) Come on!
  24. So you guys who speculate Peter might have small hands, like Donal Trump, might be ill-informed. You should all visit Oslo, or Minnesota, and be unusually friendly to a Knute!
  25. I don't know if Peter Sarsgaard is a Swede or a Norse or a mutt, but based on my limited personal experience, Norwegian guys have the biggest cocks but smelliest foreskins among all European men.
