  2. The last place I worked had an online class with videos shot in the 1990s that they never updated and made us watch again every year. I knew each of the characters in each of the work situations by memory after 25 years of re-watching them.
  3. I stopped at a fast food restaurant in ULTRA CONSERVATIVE Memphis, Texas a few years ago. The high school-aged young man behind the counter was wearing every rainbow-patterned accessory I could imagine. I ate the whole meal thinking "to be that brave and out in this community means that young guy is TOUGH emotionally and maybe physically."
  4. All of the geographically big states are hard to characterize at a state level. Texas in particular would look very different (and probably get a score like Arkansas) if you separated DFW, Austin, San Antonio, and Houston from the rest of the state.
  5. I saw a presentation on how there are good high quality batteries and chargers but there are also cheaply made batteries and chargers too that are the culprit for a lot of fires. A Dewalt, Makita, or Milwaukee tool battery and charger are probably pretty safe, but a scooter from Temu would be pretty scary to have in my house.
  6. I like the idea of giving a guy concentration challenges while I edge him by sucking him. First, no cumming without permission. Then, just as he’s getting into it, I tell him “starting from 100, count backwards by sevens.” Maybe have him recite the alphabet backwards using phonetic words for each letter.
  7. Being seen having male-male sex by an approving audience was very therapeutic towards dealing with some lingering homophobic shame leftover from my upbringing. Even more so, when I've had a woman approve and encourage me as I'm having male-male sex. (I'm bi-/pan-sexual.)
  8. Both sides of that equation are fun if everyone involved is into it. Bathhouses are/were usually more of an okay experience than a great one, but seeing and being seen really does/did seem like one of the best parts.
  9. I think it's okay to age shave to whatever age most people would guess you to be. I looked older than a high school student when I was in high school. (So, I was always the guy with the fake ID who bought the beer for my buddies.). Then, in about my mid-twenties, something flipped and I looked younger than I really was for a few decades. I remember, a time when I was about thirty years old, I grabbed dinner and beers with a group of college-aged friends. I was 7-10 years older than any of them and I was the only one the waiter asked for an ID. Around 55, my hair started graying and my face started to show more age and I look somewhat more my own real age. That time when I was thirty and looked under 21, I don't think I'd have been in-the-wrong if I had a hookup profile saying I was 22.
  10. I worry sometimes about age padding for twinks. I see some ads where I'd set a condition that (upon meeting) I get to see their state-issued ID and they can see mine to prove we're both legal adults before proceeding. I recently listened to a podcast where one of the hosts talked about how he was on websites and apps hooking up with grown men the moment he got a driver's license and became mobile because he was saying he was an adult on his online profiles. I suspect that some of the adults who hooked up with that guy were pretty aware of his real age but went ahead and did it because their brains were full of horny chemicals (and maybe some other chemicals too.

  13. I visited Montreal a year ago and LOVED it. The Village is an amazing neighborhood. I think you'll be fine entering and staying in Canada. I'd be worried about entering the USA if I weren't carrying a US Passport. YouTube has some good videos on tips for entering the USA especially about how to secure your electronics before entering the USA.
  14. Give us the time and date of the posts involving the daughter and we can still report the profile for "targeted harassment".
  15. I wanted to hit the applause icon to your post but only to this part of it. The rest is heartbreaking.
  16. I've heard more than one gay community voice say that the decision to put L first was in gratitude for the number of times lesbians cared for sick and dying gay men during the AIDS crisis. I was too young and in the wrong part of the country to see that first hand. But I believe it. I will gladly put L first if even some of the L community cared for the rest of us in that time when the country, culture, and our families left us to die unattended.
  17. I had to get a new driver's license a year ago and was really disappointed when I went from a license with a really good picture to one with a very non-flattering photo.
  18. I learned that you can pronounce LGBT as "El Gibbity". I've been saying that ever since.
  19. There are relatively few male-for-male pro-kinksters out there. The best site I've found for them is Tryst.link. In the search field, select "Anywhere". In the gender field, select "Male". (you might also try "Non-Binary".) In the service type field, select "BDSM". In the caters to field, select "Men". You'll get hits for a number of Cis and Trans men who are BDSM providers. Most of the advertisers will be doms but a few will be subs or switches. In Rentmen, the keyword search will be your friend. They have S&M as an interest but that's way to broad of a term and doesn't really distinguish someone who's a kink pro.
  20. You can pick up a package of "Finger Cots" at your local drugstore. A finger cot is basically just one finger from a surgical glove without the rest of the glove. They're made specifically for inserting one finger into a body cavity.
  21. The existing category S&M covers WAY too many possibilities. It's virtually meaningless.
