I’ll add that the smooth muscle tissue that makes up the interior of a vagina is the same kind of tissue that makes up the inner linings of the cheeks of your mouth. It’s texture is a little different, but the smoothness and slickness when wet are about the same, in my experience.

I have not experienced vaginal sex as either more or less stimulating than anal sex. At least not once I got used to topping for anal sex. As a teen, I’d had a lot of vaginal sex before I ever had anal sex and the taboo of anal made it extra exciting when would do it (with girlfriends back then). It was a long time and a several anal sex partners before it became something that (while still exciting) felt like a normal part of sex to me. Of course there’s a lot of variation from one bottom (vaginal or anal) to another, but here’s my impression. An anus feels different than anything else around my shaft. A vagina is wholly made of smooth muscle tissue and it will gently hug a penis all the way up and down the length of the penis. The anal sphincter on the other hand is made up of two different muscles. The inner layer is also smooth muscle. The outer layer is strong skeletal muscle. When I'm inside an anus, it feels like a slippery tight ring that opens up on the inside. That ring provides intense stimulation wherever it’s encircling my penis and feels very tight. Then, the interior rectal cavity doesn’t really provide very much sensation on my penis. The natural lubricant of a vagina are effective at allowing penetration and movement but don’t take away the sliding penis skin to vaginal lining sensations as much as commercial lubes do.
