  1. Darren acts well and looks amazing. He is even better looking than he was on Glee. It might be styling or it might just be the extra few years, but whatever it is, I like it. A lot.
  2. Zero chance that I would eat that particular meal. I’ve tried escargot several times and am not a fan. The thought of sweetbreads sickens me. Onion soup is nice though. I’ve been to several “French inspired” restaurants that I enjoyed, but anytime I’ve gone to an old style French restaurant, I found them stuffy and pretentious.
  3. I don't want to hijack a thread but I'll play along. I like men with some body hair or some other compensating masculine trait. Usually Latin -- with an exception or two Fabian - You'll have to trust me on the face but he's cute and has one of the most beautiful bodies I've ever had the privilege to touch. https://rent.men/FabianMarco Kurtis - Big surprise. He's perfect. Enough said. https://rent.men/KurtisWolfe Marco - Lips that make me weak in the knees and he just oozes sex appeal. https://rent.men/Latin_guy People are going to disagree. Especially about Marco. But I couldn't care less. They take my breath away.
  4. If you're asking out of curiosity...great... but don't ever feel like you need to defend what floats your boat. You've already said in your opinion he is one of the most beautiful men you've ever seen. So he is -- to you -- end of story.
  5. There is rarely something so apparently unanimous on this board. There is another thread where patience just paid off for another member, but he was not having to choose between a new guy who wasn't communicating quickly and a solid regular. I would definitely go with the solid regular.
  6. I love the variety of tastes we all have. The boy does absolutely nothing for me because there's a complete lack of masculinity, but he does seem like a poster boy for Bel Ami. I would love to hear the soundtrack of his thoughts during a scene. Is he just trying to fantasize about a girl and stressed about giving it up or is he thinking really negative homophobic thoughts about his partner.
  7. Very sad. I remember being so impressed with his matter-of-fact approach to his orientation in his comedy. It was groundbreaking but he made it no big deal. RIP one of my heroes.
  8. I don't know about his situation with his brother. No one does and it's a pretty personal matter, however, Ashton is far far from stupid. Have you ever seen him interviewed? He has often been cast as a dumb bimbo because of his looks, but looks can be deceiving. What is not mentioned below is that he was an early investor and a promoter of Acorns. A really nifty way to make small incremental investments in the stock market with low touch index funds. They only charge $1 per month to manage. He is also and owner/sponsor of a entrepreneur's incubator. I actually admire him quite a bit. From Wikipedia: Beyond the entertainment world, Kutcher is also a venture capitalist. Kutcher has also successfully invested in several high technology startups. Kutcher has investments in over 60 companies, the most prominent of which include Skype, Foursquare, Airbnb, Path and Fab.com. Kutcher has invested in five startups as of August 2017 - Neighborly, Zenreach, ResearchGate, Kopari Beauty, and most recently, Lemonade, marking his foray into the "insurtech" sector. He is a co-founder of the venture capital firm A-Grade Investments with Guy Oseary and Ron Burkle and fund manager Chris Hollod. At SXSW on March 14, 2015, Kutcher announced Sound Ventures, the successor to A-Grade Investments managing a fund backed by institutional funding. On October 29, 2013, Lenovo announced that it hired Kutcher as product engineer. Kutcher was part of the management team for Ooma, a tech start-up launched in September 2007. Ooma is in the Voice over Internet Protocol business and Kutcher's role was as Creative Director. He spearheaded a marketing campaign and produced viral videos to promote this service. Kutcher also created an interactive arm of Katalyst called Katalyst Media, with his partner from Katalyst Films, Jason Goldberg. Their first site was the animated cartoon Blah Girls. Ooma revamped its sales and marketing strategy with a new management team in the summer of 2008, replacing Kutcher as their creative director. Rich Buchanan, from Sling Media, became Ooma's Chief Marketing Officer.
  9. Thanks for the update. It's nice to hear when something turns out positive by just being an understanding human being and cutting a guy a little slack.
  10. Yes. You can only be blocked if you are logged into your account. Just log out and then try to view the profile it again.
  11. This is why oftentimes a little persistence pays off and I would never just walk away from someone I was interested in meeting without a couple tries. A particular favorite of mine can sometimes be a little difficult to schedule because he becomes overwhelmed with the volume of communications and almost does a "reset." He accepts the fact that he's never going to get to those many, many unread communications; accepts the fact that someone in that group is probably unhappy about it; and just deals with the new influx. He's an excellent escort and I haven't talked to anyone on this board who comes away saying it wasn't worth a little extra effort to get scheduled. I know I'm not in the service industry, but I do something very similar with my work email. When I get to over 500 unread emails, I go to my inbox and mark the vast majority of them as "read." I figure that many of them were fruitless and anyone who truly needed something would have sent something more recent. Not really that dissimilar to what an escort might do with all the many communications he gets that will never go anywhere.
  12. Lol. If you say so but I do note that you ain't living there. The Austin vibe isn't and (as you note) hasn't been about the "weird" element for a long time. It's about the river, and the lakes, and Zilker Park. ACL & SXSW. It's about a police force and fire department that has a large number of openly gay personnel. At the pride parade 2 years ago the mayor walked the entire route shaking people's hands; the police department band marched and laughed at the woofs; the fire department had a truck that was driven by a woman and the female passenger had a huge sign identifying the woman as her wife AND had Go-Go boys on the top. There is a reason it is bursting at the seams. I'm just sayin...
  13. I would also add a very non-snarky nudge along the lines of, "If I don't hear back from you shortly I will assume something has come up and make other arrangements."
  14. Yes. San Antonio really has very few redeeming qualities. It's the second largest city in Texas, but that's due to a huge military population and a solid industrial base. Gay life there is pretty pitiful. I'm sure they exist, but I have yet to meet an escort in Austin who is actually from Austin. They move here because it's a nice place to live. And I have yet to meet someone from another location who said, "I think San Antonio would be a really cool place to live."
  15. I hope you didn't take my comments as criticism. I was just trying to point out that you are most likely getting blocked because the escort perceives all these communications as a sign of flakiness or being high maintenance. Multiple escorts have mentioned in the past that experience has taught them that the likelihood of a client flaking out is in direct proportion to the number of communications. You wanted honest feedback and multiple people have told you how they limit the number of contacts required prior to meeting. There is no secret sauce that will guarantee you're a good match, but perhaps someone will speak up who knows how to increase those odds without scaring the escort away. I certainly don't know how, but good luck in finding the perfect equilibrium.
  16. Do you recognize that there really wasn't much difference between either approach? On the second one you committed to a time first but then you proceeded with multiple texts. It still screams "high maintenance" and potentially unrealistic expectations. If you had a very specific kink, I can see needing to provide more detail, but it sounds like you're just looking for a good BFE. That's really all you need to ask the escort or tell him what you're looking for. After that, you need to relax and let things play out. You can't force intimacy -- especially on the first meeting -- and sometimes you've got to kiss a couple toads to find someone you would really like to build some level of escort/client intimacy with.
  17. I didn't want to read the spoiler, but as far as titillation goes, I also think it was nice that the producers made them such pretty boys.
  18. You only deserve to be hated on if you're dealing with someone who is not a native English speaker. If that's the case, and you don't speak, read and write multiple languages perfectly, then you deserve a little snark. If they are a native speaker, your example seems to denote a lack of education more than a lack of attention to detail -- at least to me. Personally, I'm much more concerned about a provider's looks and services, but if poor writing skills are on your list of important things... it's your list and you can have anything you want on it. (And yes I know that was not the proper use of ellipses, but it has become a common usage. )
  19. I think you are correct. I believe an apostrophe to separate a numeral from a letter has become commonplace because it is simply easier on the eyes. It is not meant to denote possession -- just set them apart.
  20. I find it completely self-absorbed and almost pretentious. Think about it. When you're actually talking to the person you would most often use a gender-neutral pronoun like "you." For example: "Do you want to go to the movie?" When using a pronoun such as "they" you are most likely referring to that person in a conversation you are having with someone else. So you both have to be up to speed and remember that when you say something like, "They will meet us at the movies." That you are really only talking about this one person with this special need. Maybe there are other examples of witness would come into play that would make more sense to me, but I'm struggling to find them.
  21. People will debate descriptive types, but I think all of your examples are too muscular to be what I consider a swimmer's build. To me a swimmer's build is muscular but super slim. In fact it's often used for guys who are really thin and hardly have any muscle at all. Check out Connor. To me, he has the ultimate swimmer's build. https://rent.men/Connorevans If I were to describe your type it would be athletically muscular as opposed to bodybuilder muscular. It's also my favorite body type. Someone who obviously goes to the gym but has not overdone it and doesn't look like a total gym rat or a roid head.
  22. Lol. Although I am very fond of Kurtis and we have a very warm regular situation, "Miley" is not foolish enough to fall in love with an escort. Particularly one who is very much in love with his own boyfriend and would "fire" a client he thought was crossing emotional boundaries and headed for a heartbreak.
  23. Oh yeah. I learned that lesson in spades! I think it may go double for porn actors. Good in porn definitely does not equal good as an escort, but when a porn model is okay with a client's lack of hotness, they can be some of the best escorts ever. (They know how to perform. )
  24. I would be surprised. I've only met one ever. He was a total top and said he just didn't like his ass played with in any way. And that he could not stand the thought of tasting his own ass so any kissing afterwards would be off the table. It was a very odd -- and singular -- experience.
