  1. Yes, that immediately crossed my mind, but then I reminded myself that I was watching a story about dragons, giants and White Walkers. Still, I think it would have been more "believable" if the Night King had just used some kind of magic to levitate the dragon.
  2. I've seen several guys come and go very quickly -- especially young ones. Two cuties here in Austin in just the last few months. I don't know whether it's a realization that no amount of discretion is foolproof, or they do a few sessions and realize the job is not as fun as they thought it would be. We all know it takes a special kind of empathy and sexuality to make many sessions successful. It's a pretty rare quality.
  3. It's generally pretty difficult to "get" something that doesn't float your boat. I don't get the attraction to twinks at ALL. (I mean seriously...ewww.) but I get that it's a valid variation on what people like.
  4. I agree, but that happens here a lot. Try not to take it personally. Water off a duck's back and all that... A tactical mistake. Lesson learned. Many years ago when I was living in San Diego I was seeing an escort that went by Corey. (I've mentioned him here before. Great guy.) I liked him so much that I wanted to spend a weekend in Vegas with him. I needed his real name to buy the airline ticket so it was in my head. At the airport I accidentally called him by that name instead of Corey. He stopped dead, looked me in the eye, and said, "No one calls me that." Message received and understood. Since then I've been very cautious. Real names invariably come out when you have a regular situation. All these years later, I still stop and ask very specifically what name he is most comfortable with me using. Extending him that courtesy has always resulted in, "Either name is fine" or "My real name is cool." With the notable exception of Corey that is. I never called him by his real name again!
  5. Everyone starts out with no reviews and scammers can be the best communicators because they know what you want to hear. I use due diligence and the advice of trusted board members to uncover obvious red flags. Which has caused me to pass a couple times even when the communication was good. However, barring an obvious red flag, I go with my gut and have been rewarded this year with two of the best connections ever!
  6. Or Jon Snow's beautiful ass in last night's season finale. Kit Harington has done his fair share of squats...that's for sure http://instinctmagazine.com/post/jon-snows-perfect-butt-drives-game-thrones-fans-wild-season-finale
  7. In situations where the escort has chosen a non-name name for his ad, one of the first things I ask him is "What should I call you?" I try to make it clear that I'm not asking him for his actual name. That's what I do, but that doesn't mean it's right. I just remember an escort framing the name question that way many years ago, and it has always felt right.
  8. I think it was a blunder, but I'm interested to hear what the escorts will say. I do my homework and due diligence. I know they do theirs. But it's best to never reveal anything until you've gotten very comfortable with each other. One time a phone number lead directly to a young man's personal Facebook page. I didn't even mention that until after we had met and I could do it in a way that didn't freak him out. And I only mentioned it because he was young and inexperienced and it was such a huge mistake on his part.
  9. What was your favorite moment from last night's season finale? Mine was the bait and switch with Littlefinger. I couldn't imagine the Starks turning on one another, but they had me going there for a while. It was such sweet relief when Sansa said, "How do you answer these charges...Lord Baelish?"
  10. Ahhh...bazinga. I wasn't sure how I felt about this. My gut said that she should be punished for shaming him back into that truck. The same way that cyber bullies are being held accountable when they drive someone to kill themselves. But I was on the fence. This statement crystallized it for me.
  11. The question is though was he just some random guy or someone would be an even bigger part of the plot? Personally I think random. I thought humans were fighting the Children of the Forest long before the five kingdoms were conquered. I can't believe we're already at the season finale next week. Boooooo.
  12. You're a smarter man than me if you could find a story in the movie anywhere. To be honest, we walked out after about 40 minutes so maybe they eventually gave you some background on these guys and made you care about them, but it was everything I dislike about a war movie except at a snail's pace. Big thumbs down from me and my two friends.

  14. I have a very good friend who travels frequently and was making noise about getting a dog a couple years ago. He actually wanted a Husky. It had nothing to do with Game of Thrones, but was an equally stupid reason. He had dreams of going running with a dog. A Husky? In Texas? In the summer? After making a point of telling him when I couldn't join a weekend getaway to Houston because of dog care issues. Or pointing out every time I had to leave an event early because of my dog. Or how much extra our week in Costa Rica cost me because of dog boarding. He finally came around and decided he would wait to get a dog until he was "settled down." ( AKA my age ) My dog can actually tell when I am expecting a gentleman caller. The things I do to get my bedroom ready are a dead giveaway and he is not amused. He knows he is going to be shut out of the bedroom for a time while God only knows what is happening to create those noises! He parks himself near the front door and stares daggers at it until they arrive. Then when the bedroom door opens he scolds them all the way to the front door. It would be an absolutely fearsome sight if he wasn't an old, gray-haired, overweight Pug.
  15. This is exactly why I could never fool around with SA. I'm not foolish enough to send a stranger three grand, but if I were to meet someone like this and could verify the story, I could easily get sucked in. The idea of helping a young man "launch" is very appealing to me. Probably because I don't have kids. I often catch myself wondering why I bothered to accumulate all this STUFF and what good it does other than serve my selfish needs. I think I've heard Daenerys Targaryen say "We will leave this world a better place" once too often.
  16. I believe that GoT is one of the world's most popular shows because it's pure escapism. It has excellent production, great acting and really beautiful naked people; but in the end it's pure fantasy. I'm simply not interested in watching something that is a more grim reality than we currently have -- even if there are lots and lots of naked people. Could be just me. I'm just not entertained by pure drama. My friend's got me to go see Dunkirk this weekend. HATED it. It was everything I hate about war movies except at a painfullg slow pace. Fortunately, they agreed and we walked out halfway through.
  17. It's going to be a tough act to follow, but I'm confident they will rise to the occasion. I'm disappointed that the producers next project is one of those alternate history pieces. I know they must me stressing out on what they could possibly do to follow up the successive GoT, but an alternate reality where the South won the Civil War? Really?
  18. I know that they are related but I still want Jon and Daenerys to get together. There is definitely chemistry there, but we'll see what happens when it comes out that they are related.
  19. My first thought was that it was Bronn, but I guess Dickon may be a better guess. I'm going to have to see if I can slow it down and get a better look. I think Bronn was pretty far away. The real question is will Jamie surface? Dickon was wearing armor so he would also be weighted down. It's hard to believe that Jamie would be taken out so quickly and with so little fanfare, but this is GoT.
  20. It will be interesting to see how it plays out. I thought she looked impressed more than jealous. I would be very surprised if the Starks turned on one another, but anything could happen. That's one of the reasons the show is so appealing.

  22. It's odd how names imprint on us throughout our lives and we make associations. One of the sexiest men I've ever known was named Jason. Jay is cool, but Jason is a beautiful name. You should embrace it.
  23. I was afraid he was going to get killed immediately after saving Jamie. My immediate thought was a Dothraki was going to swoop by and cut off his head. The battle scene was very difficult to watch. I was so conflicted. I have grown to love Jaime and Bronn. The cliffhanger at the end of the battle scene was classic.
  24. I don't really consider it a nickname as much as a term of endearment, but I love love love being called babe. I think it's the perfect level of endearment. Not too sickly-sweet nor too overtly sexual. Just another example of nothing being universal. It's all about knowing your audience. But to stay on topic. I have no problem telling people what I prefer to be called, but it varies based on the person. My name really is Mike. Even though I use Mikey in my forum handle, I only let my closest friends call me that. I am not fond of Michael, and I never introduce myself with it, but I will tolerate it from women and gay men. (Gay men seem to have a penchant for using full names.) I'm just grateful my name is not Richard. I would definitely insist on being called Rich. I don't know how anyone tolerates being called Dick!
