A private masseur in NYC charges somewhere around $ 150 for a good session.....so if the spa charges $ 60 it's tacky to not double that and tip the masseur. ( plus more for more "individual" attention given).

New Hero is the old Manta. Tried it recently. Basically the same place with some tacky remodeling. Some sad, fat Chinese guys sitting around the lobby. I tried a tall, skinny Asian kid. Mediocre massage/ spent WAY too much time prepping with pressure through a towel. OK work in the glutes and buttocks that lead to an ok ending, but definitely nothing worth recommending or repeating. Still sad and tired. I will stick with Shangrila for the higher cost and much better service.

Seems to me you should be hiring an escort who does massage, not a person who's advertising as a masseur. In my experience, if you want a massage you go to a masseur. If you develop a steady business relationship with that person, then over time, the friendship leads to extra attention.
