If you had listened to the court video, you would have heard that the case would remain unsealed for two years, after which, the case would be sealed from public access. -

You leave after driving forty or fifty miles to the escort, after he pulls that unexpected advance payment stunt? That is a lot of driving time, especially if one lives in a large city. You said that you would leave. What about others out here who drive or travel a long way only to have the escort change the rules and insist on advance payment? There is no question that the rules for hiring have changed in favor of the escort, considering the relatively new high hike in prices and the ever-so-common advance payment demand. Has anyone reached a "happy Medium" so to speak, with advance payment, together with a long travel trip to the escort?

This guy has been advertising on rentmen only five months. However, he has no reviews. He is from Eastern Europe but speaks English quite well. Would anyone out here have any opinions about hiring a person from another country who has no reviews? He seems friendly and conversational. However, it seems that he should have at least one review (or more) in five months of advertising on rentmen. Any thoughts? No response to this real-life situation? It is very popular now for escorts to insist on advance payment. They do not tell you this until you meet together. Often, after a long transportation trip to meet the escort. Sometimes the escorts insist on money after you are in bed together. There must be a happy medium for this relatively new popular stunt played by escorts.

If anyone is interested, the link below will take you to the actual recording of the trial wherein Kyle Snyder was required to plead guilty or not guilty. Obviously, he pleaded guilty. He was fined $250.00 plus court costs of an undisclosed amount. He had also been required to take a paid course about how negative it is to hire a prostitute. It was pathetic to hear Kyle say, in court, that the "class" taught him about his behavior and about prostitution. In short, the court hearing required Kyle to agree that he was a negative person because he tried to hire a prostitute. I think the entrapment law of someone who merely tries to hire a prostitute is from a different era. Times have changed, but the outdated laws stay on the books that allow police to entrap and arrest someone for a non-violent "crime". Here is the link to the recorded court appearance of Kyle: -

If you expect an answer to your rude question, your method is not conducive to generating a positive reply. Had you taken the time to review numerous reports about the arrest, you would have seen, for yourself, that rentmen was mentioned as a source for the police to entrap the athlete. -

What if you spent a lot of time driving to the escort, and he springs the advance payment requirement? Do you leave?

The arrest of Kyle Snyder should be a cautionary warning to those of us who hire from rentmen or from any other online site. In the instant case, Snyder had the "escort" (that he thought he was hiring) come to his hotel room. Instead of an "escort" coming to the room, it was a policeman who arrived and then asked for the money from Snyder. Upon Snyder giving the cop the asked-for money, several other cops suddenly came to the room and promptly placed Snyder in handcuffs and told him he was under arrest for prostitution solicitation. Further, it was heard in the video that one cop said to Snyder, It's time for your "walk of shame" which meant that Snyder had to walk down the hotel hallway (handcuffed and into the hotel lobby and (presumably into a police car, when he was taken to jail. Any thoughts about this? If this can happen to Snyder, it can happen to any of us who hire from online sites. Hence, although it might take extra time in hiring an "escort", it is safer to agree to first meet the "escort" in a local bar or other public place. If you meet the "escort" in public, it is unlikely that the cop will have several other cops waiting for you to offer the first cop money for prostitution. This could happen to any of us. Be careful and realize that the person who advertises and says he is an "escort" could be a cop (with additional cops in tow). -

This arrest created so many different news reports which makes it difficult to recall each source of what was reported. However, one ad was very clear that the advertisement was rentmen. -

Paying An Escort to Sleep and Exercise
coriolis888 replied to FaustOust's topic in Questions About Hiring
Slave labor? If you factor in the payment (for several days escorting) to an escort for an overnight or an extended vacation, think of the money the escort is making, not to mention the fact that he likely does not report the money for income purposes (which saves him a chunk of money). Another thing, if there is a large difference between your ages, even though it is not always the case, escorts often have difficulty having sex with someone who is much older and not attractive to them. Just a couple of thoughts. -

It was back in 1995 and I do not recall the name of the lab. You can easily find a lab if you search the internet.
-
Even though you had the misfortune to have become positive, you have a remarkable attitude about it. It was in 1995 that the medications became available to keep HIV positive people from dying. My two friends who died did so in 1995, just two months before the cocktail was released that kept HIV victims alive. If nature had just a little patience, my two friends might still be here. As to funding, J. F. K. Junior is in charge of America's health system. However, he is not a physician and has had no medical training. He already announced that he is going to cut the funding for research into HIV (and other diseases) and stop further research for vaccines. Forgetting Kennedy, if anyone is interested in taking that HIV resistance test, many labs offer the test. You can check the internet for labs in your area.
-
I am puzzled why I have never seen, in any gay forum or gay news reports, the fact that there is a certain group of people who are lacking a specific gene that prevents them from becoming infected with HIV. These people can have sex with thousands of HIV positive people and never get infected with HIV because of the lack of a certain gene that prevents HIV from infecting them. When HIV was raging before and into 1995, there was no HIV medication that prevented most HIV patients from dying. Several of my friends died from HIV in 1995 and prior. About that time, the CDC and other reliable medical sources (Medical schools) wrote articles about a lab test that would let a person know if they lacked a specific HIV gene receptor ( CCR5-Δ32 mutation). Most who lack the HIV receptor gene were Northern European, however, some were not. A friend and I hunted for various articles written about the lacking receptor gene. We also hunted for a lab that administered the test to see if we lacked the HIV gene receptor. You can find labs on the internet that administer this test. Some labs require a doctor's prescription while some do not. Happily, my friend and I found a lab and took the test. It was determined that we lack the HIV receptor. Needless to say, we were pleased that we could never become infected with HIV. We are not completely Northern Europeans. We are a mixture of Northern European and a bit of Southern Europe. If you are concerned about being infected with HIV, you might consider taking that test to see if you lack the receptor. For convenience, next is a copy of a response that I got from the internet about the receptor. Yes, a small but significant number of people lack a specific gene mutation, the CCR5-Δ32 mutationCCR5-Δ32 mutation mutation, which prevents HIV from infecting their cells, making them naturally resistant to the virus. This genetic variation, more common in Northern European populations, results in the absence of the CCR5 co-receptor that HIV uses to enter CD4+ T cells. Individuals with this mutation, even when exposed to HIV, cannot become infected with the virus. AND CCR5 Δ32 Mutation The CCR5 Δ32 mutation is a deletion of 32 base pairs in the CCR5 gene, which encodes a protein called the chemokine receptor 5. This mutation is found primarily in people of European descent. Function and Significance: HIV Resistance: The CCR5 protein is used by HIV to enter cells. The Δ32 mutation prevents HIV from binding to and entering cells, making individuals homozygous for this mutation (carrying two copies of the mutated gene) resistant to HIV infection. Other
