  1. All I know is I tried to reach out to him a couple months ago. I thought we were having good communication - following all the typically known “rules,” and being up front about dates and times (you know all the stuff pros say they want), while also trying to keep it warm. Suddenly sent me a message that said I’d made him uncomfortable and felt a meeting would be a bad idea, and as soon as he sent that message, he blocked me. It really was pretty silly, I thought, but I’m glad he saved me from wasting any more time. And, I hate to think I did anything untoward. Of course, it’s hard to know where anyone is coming from or where their mind is when they respond like that or what influences (of a variety of sorts) they might be under. Nevertheless, it was a surprising and disappointing reaction. Edit: I want to add he was not necessarily rude, but it was very abrupt and felt premature. C’est la vie!
  2. This sounds VERY steamy. :D
  3. Yes. Had it today, actually. It was sort of a splurge day...not on the meal plan, but I love the stuff.
  4. In moderation. A taste here and there....with sushi, of course.
  5. I personally prefer overnights. It does vary by provider, but the providers who specialize and excel in the “Boyfriend Experience” (also a relative and highly debatable term), would be the type of person whom I would consider an overnight engagement with. I have never had a bad experience with an overnight so far - in every case my companion was well-reviewed, interested in more than just the physical, but the emotional and mental as well. It gives an opportunity take things at a relaxed pace, grab dinner and drinks, enjoy breakfast and of course lots of fun in between. In my experiences there hasn’t been a lot of “sleeping,” though it’s nice to drift off for spells between the interaction. I don’t think I would ever return to hiring for only an hour. I’d rather spend a little more less often and make the event a total experience. Overnights are perfect for that in my view. As an aside, if an overnight seems too long, consider a 4 to 6 hour engagement instead. This would allow you to have some play, possibly go to dinner and a show, and rap up the evening with more play before you go your separate ways. The issue with this is, depending on the provider’s pricing, it may not be that much more to upgrade to the overnight anyway, but cost is not the only consideration in this decision, of course - some people actually do want to sleep and don’t share a bed well, amongst other considerations.
  6. Took this trip several years ago in early fall and it was fabulous. The trip to Normandy was truly humbling....to walk out onto Omaha Beach, Pointe du Hoc, and visit the American Cemetery were tremendous opportunities to come in contact with an area of such tremendous world history. Having family who fought and were prisoners of war in WWII, it is an experience I will never forget it. Wish more people were able to make that trip.
  7. Bump. Anyone spend any time with Elli, or successfully make contact?
  8. This caught my attention. I have had similar stellar experiences with Amex Platinum on a variety of fronts over the years - from travel to fraud prevention and card replacement. Also a great membership rewards program. I use it for just about everything I can. “Wouldn’t leave home without it.”
  9. I like a provider’s profile that is complete and try to provide one in return. I always reference it to the provider when I make initial contact. Probably about half the time, they actually check it (you can tell when they don’t.) I make the effort to have one to help demonstrate that I am not a flake. I think it helps, but it doesn’t make nearly the difference that one might think. Like you, I have some inquiries from providers as well, but I don’t mind. I consider it flattering - and thank them - even if I’m not interested. Plus, I figure it might merely be part of their marketing. I don’t assume it’s because they find me particularly attractive by their standard.
  10. For those who met him, I see PNP listed in his profile. I usually steer clear when I see that, just because I am not at all into it as I understand it. Am I missing something?
  11. Ha! Guess I need to get up to speed with the “fatty” lingo. Part of the junk has developed as it would from working out, but I don’t mind it. It’s been a long road. I keep changing up my workouts about every 12 to 16 weeks to keep things fresh and try to keep from getting bored. That helps. Once you do it long enough the fear of ever returning to where you began is quite a motivator. I promise you can do it, and you will fall off at times and make errors, but you just keep getting back on track. It really is 75% to 80% what you eat. The exercise is the “polish” on good, healthy eating. And let yourself have the ice cream every now and then.
  12. Well, not overweight or a “fatty”anymore, albeit I’d like to reduce my body fat percentage some more. I got down into the single digits before, but I was exceptionally thin for my height and felt like my muscle mass was deteriorating. I’m in the 14% to 15% right now. Would like to get back down to around 10% if I could. It’s a constant process. To answer your question I order most things now online; overall about half “in-store” purchases and half online. My shorts aren’t really tight, except around my ass a bit cause I’ve got a little junk in the trunk, but nothing crazy. Blue balls at the gym suck. I’ve been there. Lesson: gotta take care of that before you start your workouts.
  13. I’ll hafta check these out. Thanks for the recommendation.
  14. Not sure I can get on board with this plan, but to each his own.
  15. I just buy a new tank or shorts when the mood strikes me. I’ve been at this fitness journey for almost 5 years now. It’s been a good one. I haven’t donated any of my gear because I normally wear it out - or keep wearing it until it wears out. The last set of shorts I got that I really liked were some Rhône shorts. Excellent purchase, but a little pricey. They met all my requirements that I mentioned. I’ve also gotten some from Hylete, but they are a bit too long. They now have a quad cut that I think I would like better. Otherwise, just basic Under Armour, Nike, or Adidas. So no, I don’t do the basketball shorts thing. I don’t like them that long around my knees and so loose and baggy that my phone is flopping around. I like a set of shorts that can handle my phone and it be secure. I got my last sets of shoes at the Nike factory outlet. I have 3 pair I work out with depending on what my primary goal is for that workout - solid souls for leg days and dead lift; light weight runners with cushioned souls for cardio and running; cross trainers when I want to do a little of it all. My foot is long, but not too wide, so I haven’t had a lot of issue. My cross trainers allow for a wide foot, it would seem. Or they seem wider than the others because they’re is a broader base. I love this stuff. I could talk about it for hours. From gear to lifts, Training, nutrition, etc. I enjoy learning about it and progressing. Excuse the lengthy response, but maybe that explains it. I was overweight (especially for me), until I made the commitment to start taking care of myself. Still not where I want to be, but hope to continue as long as my body allows. Best decision I’ve made. I decided age may have its way, but I sure as hell am not going down without a fight!
  16. Interesting fellas. I enjoy spending time in the gym and for me, it’s about function over anything else. I like to update my gym gear routinely, because it keeps me motivated. I wouldn’t say I’m a gym fashion plate, but I buy decent quality pieces. Normally work out in tank tops or t-shirts with sleeves cut off; I’ll tend to wear T-shirt’s (form fitting) in days when I’m squatting just because for both front and back squats the bar is on your skin and it’s a little more comfortable. Otherwise tanks. I ain’t into freeballin in the gym. I want the boys tucked away. If I do cardio nothing more annoying than your junk just flopping around - that can be distracting for a multitude of reasons. For me supportive briefs, trunks, or compression shorts on leg days. I can’t stand to work out in long tights or sweats. It’s shorts all the way - no matter the season. Usually quad length to 4 inches above knee. I hate shorts getting tangled at my knees and being too baggy. My shorts fit, but have stretch for squatting and deadlifting. (My ass is a little big, but not enormous, I just have to be sure there’s some stretch to make room for my ass, and they work. You know your body, buy accordingly.) Shoes. For deadlifting and squatting and days when I’m working lower, I use a solid soul shoe that is not squishy. Just a simple firm foundation is what you want. I want firm contact with the ground for these movements plus the leg press and this works for me. Mine are simple black Nike’s. Otherwise, I use a pair of light weight running shoes if I’m going to run or do the treadmill. If I’m doing more cross fit style, then I will use a cross trainer shoe. Enjoy yourself and keep working at it. It’s slow, but rewarding.
  17. If he ever does....don’t waste the opportunity! Alex doesn’t travel a lot, but you will not be disappointed. Promise.
  18. Sounds like life has really dealt her a challenging hand. To endure life amongst Republicans and only have a 5 bedroom Manhattan apartment to escape to. But, at least there’s the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade... This is fun.
  19. Poor thing. The pressure must be intense. It’s reassuring that she’s found a way to cope with the abundance of mattresses.
  20. Major “First World” considerations/concerns. (Not saying I wouldn’t be tempted by the service, just calling a “spade”, a “spade.”)
  21. Add me to the Alex Ward fans. If you like kissing, hold on tight fellas! Can’t recommend or speak highly enough of Alex. True, skilled gentleman and passionate with those beautiful lips.
  22. Ok. That makes sense. I was under the impression this was standard for your landlord to perform for all of his tenants, or you lived in a complex where this was part of the service. It’s not an impossible concept if that were to exist, but certainly not anything I had ever heard of. So, it caused me to wonder. That’s really nice to have someone like that to depend upon and for them to take such care. Sounds like an awesome landlord!
  23. *Insert sound of a record scratching.* Your landlord handles your sheet purchasing and laundry? I’m still trying to process this. Do you live in a hotel? You’re joking, right?
  24. I’m a little dense sometimes @BnaC. Does this mean I get a passing grade, professor?:D
  25. That’s very kind of you to say. I’ll do my best to keep things smart and sexy. Hehe.
