All of this is true AND there is still some cause to be reasonably cautious for those so inclined. (And this is a personal choice that I don’t think should be up for debate by other people.) Personally, I am “living my life” fully - including getting massages - while also only having indoor maskless contact with others whom I know have been vaccinated. This is because it is still possible to get mild Covid and even one with a mild case can wind up with “Long Covid.” Two of my friends who had mild cases have now been suffering for months - one with a new heart problem, the other with her hair falling out in her 40s. Hopefully it will become clear that this doesn’t happen to those who are vaccinated but since it is too soon to know about the development of “Long Covid,” I’m exercising some caution, but I respect the choices of those who are not concerned. I hope we can all put this behind us soon.

Update on my recent visit: I was curious about Tony (this one: https://www.masseurfinder.com/massage-therapists/16047/). Happened upon a very hot guy on Grindr who looked like him but with sexier shirtless pics. Asked if it was he; he said yes. Moved to texting and he was frustratingly elusive during the 24 hours I attempted to book (would reply with short answers that didn’t address my questions) but with some pushing we did, even confirmed it that morning. An hour before (I had told him I had to drive 45 minutes to get to him and needed the address) he cancelled. So I booked another masseur - who also cancelled. I then gave up. I’m always careful not to be annoying but my hour-away situation might have been for these guys. Or they’re just flakey.

Twenty-five years ago, I had my first non-spa massage, lured by a sexy shirtless ad in Frontiers. Deron was my first, and I was hooked.
