Here's an early memory: cub scouts so I was in elementary school. I had a crush on the father of the other of one of the other scouts. Super cute. I remember visiting their house at some point and the father was doing some home repairs decked out in jeans and boots. Nothing more to it than that really. But I still remember him as one of my earliest memories that made me feel "funny".

I was in a small California coast city recently and tried Uber for the first time. For previous experience, I knew that local taxi services were unreliable and dispatchers rude. Uber by comparison was a fresh breeze off the ocean. The driver came quickly. I knew exactly when he would arrive. No lying dispatcher pretending to send a cab and then claiming when you call back 20 minutes later that "the driver got lost because his GPS". Yah that's it the driver couldn't find the central train station in town. So Uber isn't just a game changer in large cities. It can provide needed competition to local taxi services. Sometimes taxi companies are given virtual monopolies by local regulations and that's never good for consumers.

It's not my earliest memory but I can still recall watching a really athletic guy in high school changing into a jockstrap before gym class. Nobody wore jockstraps in my high school except the athletes. Now, the jockstrap's day has completely passed (except in gay porn). But I have fond memories....

I've been trying out WF the past couple of weeks. Their stores here in LA seem hard to get into. They parking is often bad (worse than the regular grocery stores in LA). And, for me, there's nothing overly special about what they sell. And their prices are 10% to 30% higher than what you might find at Ralph's for the same thing. That said, there's a WF opening in Downtown (eventually). I'm looking forward to that since it will be a new lunch time option.

Well while I hate the bad apples, I must be honest that hiring gay-for-pay has been worth it. In particular, I've met some excellent escorts who I kept meeting for months or even years.

I've had the same experience. I met a Marine on CL who walked right out of central casting: blond, blue-eyed, built like a brick-shit-house. It actually started off great. We met twice and had a hot time. Then he got flaky and manipulative. He arranged meetings he had no intention of keeping. I think it was his passive-aggressive way of saying he was tired of being gay-for-pay. Too bad. He was a find but left a bad taste in my mouth ultimately.
