  1. He hates this place! I think he means Philadelphia.
  2. Where's the new Music Forum? 🙂
  3. I tried watching Flight Attendant but only got halfway through the third episode before I gave up. Anyone like it?
  4. I found a good deal on Business Class travel to Brazil, but on Avianca. Researching them, I learned that their Business Class does not live up to most expectations.
  5. I gave it a try once, but the feature disappeared later.
  6. Thanks for the correction. I had just discovered the mistake when it was time to sit down for dinner. As for the stud, the comments on the linked thread are not promising, but I would pay for his time only in the amount of $500 per hour if it was a full hour and I had his full attention. Yes, he would have to rise to the occasion! (Just kidding, officer!)
  7. I guess he hasn't found his sugar daddy. A long thread on him has expired: https://www.companyofmen.org/topic/84230-has-anyone-hired-private-dancer/?_fromLogin=1 But he is now in LA. @MikeBiDude did you ever hire him? I think he is the hottest guy on Rentmen! rentmen.com/private_dancer
  8. COVID deaths among the vaccinated are up. They now constitute 42% of the fatalities, compared to 23% last September. The pandemic’s toll is no longer falling almost exclusively on those who chose not to or could not get shots, with vaccine protection waning over time and the elderly and immunocompromised — who are at greatest risk of succumbing to covid-19, even if vaccinated — having a harder time dodging increasingly contagious strains. ... A key explanation for the rise in deaths among the vaccinated is that covid-19 fatalities are again concentrated among the elderly. Nearly two-thirds of the people who died during the omicron surge were 75 and older, according to a Post analysis, compared with a third during the delta wave. Seniors are overwhelmingly immunized, but vaccines are less effective and their potency wanes over time in older age groups. https://www.washingtonpost.com/health/2022/04/29/covid-deaths-unvaccinated-boosters/
  9. What a fucking joke! The $732 airfare yesterday was $1032 today! Then, once you book and get to pick seats, they want you to pay for any seat not in the back of the plane! Unbelievable! I got the two tickets using miles, but even they had risen. I had to use all of my miles for two coach seats...175,000 miles and $130. For a domestic trip!
  10. Starting with photoshop.
  11. I checked Expedia to Rio, and did find tickets in Business Class for almost half of what the airline was offering. I also checked domestic trip that I was interested in, and the same flights for which United wanted $732, were $594 on Expedia. Hmm.
  12. I remember when I could remember things! Also, I remember when giving you your receipt after a purchase was an automatic thing. Of course I want my receipt!
  13. Maybe we will soon see a RadioDaddy!
  14. Has anyone here bought Business Class tickets through a discount site? What was the experience like?
  15. From washingtonpost.com: A Delta passenger sitting in first class allegedly assaulted a flight attendant, calling him homophobic slurs, throwing ice at him and hitting him in the chest with a phone, according to an arrest affidavit. Christopher Alexander Morgan was flying home to Arizona from Atlanta on Friday when the incident unfolded, the FBI report says. The trip was rocky from the start: Before takeoff, Morgan reclined his first-class seat all the way back and refused to fasten his seat belt, the affidavit says. One of the flight attendants, identified as G.H., had to push the button on the seat to move it upright. Still, Morgan was able to order an alcoholic beverage. When he asked for a second one, a flight attendant identified as H.D. offered him a nonalcoholic beverage, which “angered Morgan,” the arrest report says. He allegedly threw a glass of ice at the flight attendant’s face and started to use slurs against him. Another passenger tried to calm the situation, but Morgan got angry and held his glass up to the man’s face, the report says. The flight attendant identified as H.D. walked to the galley area to tell the pilot by phone what was happening. Morgan allegedly got out of his seat, grabbed the phone and hit H.D. in the chest with it. Another flight attendant was told to stay near the cockpit door for the rest of the flight “out of security concerns for the flight crew,” the report says. https://www.washingtonpost.com/travel/2022/04/26/delta-unruly-arrest-passenger-assault/
  16. Years of experience with the hot summer months have taught me that they zip by pretty fast. I have often gone to Brazil for a couple of weeks, but can't this season. A/C is the best way to avoid the heat! Can you imagine living in the desert without it? The heat is one reason I became a morning person. It's lovely at 4 am!
  17. Maybe we will soon have yet another forum! This one would be about Gay Home Decor! I think it might be quite popular.
  18. The big musical event of the last two weekends has been the Coachella Festival. Local grocery stores were packed as the attendees stocked up on food and beverages for their three-day event each weekend. Restaurants were as well. We took a snowbird friend whom many of you know out to an early lunch today and the lines of cars trying to enter the packed parking lot were quite long. Then there was a wait as every table was taken, indoors and out. And here I thought all of the youngsters went home yesterday. Snowbird season is coming to an end. That means less crowds, but also less to do. And, of course, the hot desert weather is on the way.
  19. We took a boat ride from HCMC down the river. We stopped at a few villages, but were not welcome at some where they didn't like Americans. It was an all day trip.
  20. I remember when threads posted in the Lounge weren't always questions! Do you?
  21. I borrowed it from the LA Times!
  22. Warning!
  23. Was that on 45th Street near Times Square? I had a similar experience once.
  24. Johnny is being battered in a US courtroom as he sues Amber for libel. Neither one of them comes out looking good here. https://time.com/6168367/johnny-depp-amber-heard-testimony-libel-lawsuit/
