I found sanitizing wipes and hand sanitizer easily this week. The hand sanitizers are often not as good as you might be used to, but look for at least 70% ethyl alcohol as a base. Lysol type sprays are still difficult to find.

In July it is rare to need a sweater at night. For me, the t-shirt itself is enough. But I keep a long sleeve shirt handy. -

InnDulge has a good reputation. During the quarantine, the Hacienda Inn, which is very nice also, kept all of its employees on the payroll. I'd support a place like that. The sex venues have day passes, so you can stay at a nice place at night and still go to them. Not that I ever have. -

I've met a few people from this and the boytoy.com website. Probably one hundred men over the years. It all started with the Gaiety in New York. Stella's soon became part of the evening. And, of course, the 20 Club which rose after the first two closed. And then there was Palm Springs, where someone started a weekend type thing. I went to that a few times early on.

I used to work with rape victims, both male and female. It is an exceptionally traumatic event which leaves a lifetime of scars. Using the term in any "fun" context is insensitive if not worse.

Good memory, g56whiz! There was a time when a group of us would gather for dinner, then take in the early show at the Gaiety and end up at Stella's. One could be home in bed by midnight! Or, home in bed with a hot new friend. Cooper was the main organizer of these events as I recall. It wasn't quite the same with Club 20, but one made do!

I just finished Apartment, by Teddy Wayne. Two young men in Columbia's Master of Fine Arts program meet in a class. Billy, the handsome one, works at a bar and sleeps in the bar's basement office. The second guy, an unnamed narrator, benefits from a free rent-controlled apartment and the largesse of his daddy. Soon he is sharing both with cute Billy. What could go wrong? Very nicely written. -
