  1. You thought that Thailand has plenty of queens, but they have only two official ones. The King has named his consort a queen in a controversial decision. https://knewz.com/thailand-king-controversy-renewed/?utm_source=nypost https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9187411/Thai-king-makes-consort-second-queen-birthday-gift-historic-move.html In other news, the King has been accused of breaking his sister's ankles when she protested the above: https://www.thedailybeast.com/king-of-thailand-reportedly-accused-of-breaking-sisters-ankles-after-she-questions-plan-to-name-second-queen
  2. Dance away! No masks. Melbourne, Australia, has not had a COVID case in 21 days, and the gay dance bar is alive with music: https://www.nydailynews.com/snyde/ny-gay-bar-australia-dancing-lady-gaga-jealous-20210127-cbjx6v24frgbldbeaesluynwjq-story.html
  3. Like one hour per floor! I don't climb like I used to!
  4. I enjoyed reading the history of the show as told in Michael Riedel's new book, Singular Sensation.
  5. @Daniel84 Clearly you won't be catering to an older crowd.
  6. And now China has developed an anal swab test for it. I guess that they want all of their gay citizens to get tested! https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/asia_pacific/anal-swab-china-coronavirus/2021/01/27/cc284f56-6054-11eb-a177-7765f29a9524_story.html
  7. I really enjoyed theater critic Michael Riedel's latest book on Broadway, Singular Sensation. Full of gossip, it takes us mostly through the nineties. I especially liked reading the history of Rent and The Producers.
  8. I just read Brad Thor and Jack Carr's latest, as well as Singular Sensation by Michael Riedel.
  9. Well, that's one title for a thread. It may look like this: A new book, Extraterrestial, discusses life in space and posits that alien technology caused a huge life-form, miles long, to pass by Earth. If you think we are not alone in the universe, read on! https://www.nytimes.com/2021/01/26/books/review/extraterrestrial-avi-loeb.html (It might have been just a huge comet.)

    Harvey Milk

And after his release, he killed himself.
  11. The link is to the NY Post. That means: Don't take it at face value!
  12. I disagree. Such a post allows you to defame a provider without providing a reason. That's hardly fair to anyone.
  13. So why didn't you "like" his post?

I went to Expo 67 as part of a trip to the Northeast. We stopped in Boston for a game at Fenway Park, went to Cooperstown to see the Hall of Fame, and had a blast in Montreal at the Expo. No gay stuff at that time in my life, although the sexy bellboy speaking French intrigued me.
  16. So California has just admitted that those restrictions which it just lifted were not necessary. No wonder people are so confused about what to do to prevent the virus. Think of all those businesses which suffered during the apparently unnecessary restrictions.
  17. Looks good to me!

And, of course, he might not have.
  19. But, Asian men that you meet in Asia are all after your money?

Just my opinion here, @Merboy but I don't know what you are trying to accomplish with this thread about Harvey Milk. You start out like you want to pay tribute, and that's great. But subsequent posts are meaningless and not a tribute to the memory of Harvey Milk. He deserves a thread that has some idea of where it is going. Just my opinion!

Do you really think San Francisco voters cared about his hair? Really?

You did not title the thread with a question. Isn't that your usual practice? I moved to California on the day that Harvey Milk was assassinated. Tragic as his death was, it did motivate others to step up and step in to further his goals. Gays went from being a source of mockery to actual power in San Francisco.
  23. Interesting. I have always said I only tease guys I like.
  24. I think that you were over-sensitive. But, if the mood had passed, then cancel. I just wonder why you expect him to spend so much time in texting you. Make the appointment and then keep it. You would have avoided all of this drama.
