I suffered from moderate acne until my late 30s. Saw multiple dermatologists and tried many different prescriptions with not so great results. I was always self-conscious about it and it really impacted my social and dating life; some people can be pretty cruel. Fortunately, in my 40s my body chemistry changed and it pretty much disappeared. I always feel bad for people with severe cases of acne and I would not wish it on anyone; specially the cases that go beyond normal zits and result in cysts that lead to major scarring...

Not if you take responsibility for yourself and follow the same safer sex protocols you have always used. People are living in a fantasy world if they honestly think that guys who advertise as "safe only" are necessarily doing the same in their personal life. PrEP has changed everything.

My first thought was exactly what @MiamiLooker said, but based on your comment I'll use a different term - sexual assault. In my opinion (and it sounds like @MiamiLooker thinks along the same lines) a person who uses their physical size to attempt unwanted sexual content with someone who is smaller than they are and is in a weakened state due to an injury has at the very least attempted to sexually assault the other party.

Even a 'super popular' guy should have the business sense to send a quick 'sorry, not available/interested/breathing/etc' email. It ain't rocket science.
 
Stick to escorts with a collection of positive reviews. Don't look in the cracks for your first several meets. Spend the time and the money to get a guy who's going to give you a fantastic, comfortable experience.
 
That's not to say overpay... Just use common sense and if he's not giving you the communication you need, say something. If he ignores it, move forward.

Sometimes the communication stops after 2 texts. I contacted a popular and well reviewed companion asking if we could have a quick call to chat about a potential meeting. He responded we could set up a call but when I tried to schedule a time he did not respond. I gave up after 2 texts. I like to speak on the phone to ask basic questions and see if we are compatible. Usually a couple of minutes; I don't like my time wasted and hence don't like to waste people's time but I still like to hear someone's voice if I have not met them...
 
As someone else suggested when i posted i was really down about it, I just needed to move on. There are many other companions out there who will respond and why be down about the one who decided he was not interested in setting something up with me... That was great advice from another forum member. In the end perhaps it's a numbers game but not as bad as dating...

Hey Trent1500 we were ALL new around here once. Ask your questions and don't be intimidated by some rather abrupt responses by some of us old timers.

I am very fortunate to see a lovely hot sexy man who I trust and who trusts me. A few years ago I was kidding him about his age and he pulled out his drivers license and handed it to me -- That is trust. He was a great comfort to me -- as recently a dear FWB of 7 years with whom he was also acquainted - died prematurely a few weeks ago by his own hand. My FWB and I loved each other very much and I was fortunate that this lovely man was there last night to comfort and console me . . .
 
He has no family here and trusts me with keys to his home -- Trust is a lovely and rare thing!

Move on. Its going to happen from time to time, enough so that you need to learn not to let it upset you.

Could be a hundred different reasons - may not even involve you. This is like fishing: some of the fish may not like your bait, some of the fish aren't hungry right now, and some of the fish have other poles they're attracted to. Don't take it personal. There's other fish.

I think there was a comment made that was either deemed too personal or sensitive and then everything got deleted and it got locked...
