I have not yet set up an hour meeting. The shortest meeting I schedule is 3 hours and usually it’s a 4 hour meetings so we can get to know each other and not feel rushed. Am I strange for doing so? -

After grad school I lived with my parents until I bought my own place. They refused when I offered to pay rent. So I would pay for the groceries when I went shopping with them and paid one of the parent student loan payments they were still paying for my younger siblings. I would have felt weird not paying anything...

I am curious about expectations when you cover a companion's flight. Is booking travel in coach acceptable or is the expectation that you will book business or first? I am asking when they travel alone to your location; I would of course book the same class as myself if we were traveling together.

I agree. I had laser hair removal done on my back and the dermatologist’s assistant would shave me before they lasered the area. It was really painful can’t imagine I could handle my private parts being lasered...

I’m uncut and keep the head covered. I’ve tried keeping it pulled back but it’s too uncomfortable as it’s too sensitive. No issues pulling it back or keeping it clean; just can’t have it rubbing clothes.

American fare I usually interpret as comfort food (e.g. mac & cheese, burgers, etc.); essentially Diner food as we have on the east coast. "New American" fare I think of upscale fusion restaurants or farm to table which is what some of them have renamed themselves...

I have always met with companions at my own hotel even when meeting locally. I guess I feel more comfortable meeting at my own place. Am I worrying for no reason about meeting at the companions hotel? It would be more cost effective if I didn't have to incur the costs of my own room and would allow me to spend more time with the companion. Thoughts?
