I grew up in Manhattan and I would agree that although there are venues in NYC that require more formal dress, casual is usually not an issue. I always loved the fact you could walk into a high end store on 5th avenue and usually they don't care how your are dressed. Sometimes the person that's dressed casually is the one that's going to pull out the centurion card and drop $100k. Very different than other places in other states I won't name where I have not had the best experiences...

I agree doesn’t sound professional at all. He changed the agreed plans with you because someone else cancelled. His problems with other clients shouldn’t impact the arrangements he made with you. Bummer about losing half the deposit but I agree with you if I’m understanding correctly.

I agree particularly physical roles; I know people that have gone through chemo and the treatment really takes a toll on the body and is draining so it’s amazing what he was able to do
