  1. A little thin-skinned today are we?
  2. I'm not seeing it.
  3. I just had a horrible experience with my lender. There is something buggy in their web payment portal, and my bank started declining transactions originating from the web portal, saying that the account couldn't be located. Telephone transactions went right through without a problem. They began stuffing my mailbox with threatening letters and all kinds of unpleasantness.. I finally got it fixed but I had to spend a lot of time one the phone reaming everyone who I talked to.
  4. B Be careful of speculating from an n=1.
  5. I think I had decided by 14 or so that I wanted to try sex with guys and was on the lookout for an opportunity. My view was that if I found out I didn't like it, then I didn't have to keep doing it. Took me until 17 to get it done.
  6. I agree completely. A population biologist might say that it is the species doing what it needs to do in order avoid being wiped out by overpopulation.
  7. All over the developed world, fertility rates are dropping. The global fertility rate is 50% of what it was 50 years ago. In the US, it isn't high enough even to maintain the population.
  8. When I lived in the Northeast in the 80's, Italian-Americans were called "Guidos." Haven't heard the term in awhile.
  9. It is still my main form of communication. I'm texting more and more because I get faster responses, but email is still my mainstay. When I bought my first house, the first few months, I had to monitor every penny I spent. Cell phones were in their infancy and you still had to pay long distance charges on land lines. To keep my long distance bill down, I started writing letters. It was pleasant sitting down at my desk and dashing off a letter here and there to stay in touch with remote friends and family.
  10. I'm not into really young guys. I like guys in their late 20's - they are still fresh and youthful, but starting to mature. My real sweet spot is guys in their mid 40s. They are just gold - men through and though and still young to have a great libido.
  11. I like flowers - just because they are what I know best. I have had amazing experiences with edibles provided by others, but I didn't know what they were. I also like vaping, but, again, I was being hosted so I don't know what strain it was. I have two different strains that I love for sex: Wedding Crasher and Jet Fuel.
  12. I hardly think they ignore it. It is impossible to know their algorithm for evaluating the information, but I can't believe they don't want as much information as possible in advance of a booking. Overall, I have had great experiences hiring. There have only been a handful that I could have done without. Your experience may have been different from mine, leading you to draw different conclusions from it.
  13. In my initial contact - I lay it all out - who, what, when, where, what. "Who" includes my age, weight, height, pic sometimes. The quality of their answer lets me know if I want to go through with it.
  14. The motivation was the cash. The porn was a feature of a conducive environment. I wouldn't hire a straight guy if I didn't think he was a good enough actor to give me his entire focus and convincingly act like he was enjoying it. Same way with a gay provider - if he doesn't focus on me and act like he's enjoying it, he's definitely not a repeat. I don't need to fall in love or anything, but I need some connection with a provider. I converse with new people pretty easily, so it isn't hard for me to find that. If it wasn't possible because he needed to be watching porn or something like that it wouldn't sit well. I think I would apologize and say it wasn't working and send him on his way.
  15. That's a separate issue. I don't doubt that many or most of the providers advertising that they are straight aren't who they say they are for one reason or other. But there are notable exceptions e.g. pro bodybuilders who make their limitations crystal-clear from the very start. There is also one very well-known guy, I believe in Philadelphia, beautifully-built, a total stunner, who is married to a woman and who makes it very clear to his clients that he is straight. He has a very loyal following, and if I lived closer to Philadelphia, I would happily join it - He basically will do damn near anything with a client - almost no limitations. I don't offhand, remember his name. Of course, he may not be straight, but I take people at face value. In my book, a guy who says he is straight is straight. To me, he is one of those men I talked about who is able to manage his mindset very skillfully.
  16. True that. In high school, I got top grades with minimal effort, except for math. It was my blind spot. I failed geometry and had to repeat it in summer school. I failed trig and had to repeat it in summer school. In college, I knew I was going to have to take a lot of math and do well in it, so I took a no-credit one-semester remedial math class. Smartest thing I ever did. I realized that there were some basic things from way back that I had never understood and that had held me back. Once those basic misunderstandings were corrected - math became much easier for me. Nonetheless - I always needed extra help - In college math courses, whenever I felt myself getting into the weeds, I would do some work with a tutor until I was straightened out.
  17. I don't see why a straight guy, with sufficient motivation, couldn't perform. This is all theory mind you, because I have never hired a guy who identified as straight. I do hire bi, and I have, many times, had unpaid sex with married guys on the DL. In general, escorts can do what they do well, I think, because they are skilled at managing their mindset. They often say, "Your being turned on to me turns me on." This is a conducive mindset. I don't see why a straight guy wouldn't be capable of adopting a similar mindset. He would have to have overcome the reflexive revulsion over male-on-male sex that straight guys are programmed with. But having done that, why coudn't he get himself into a mental space that allowed him to perform well with a partner of the same sex? Guys in penal institutions do it all the time.
  18. There are coyotes in the Presidio and most of the city parks in San Francisco. Lots of raccoons too.
  19. I seem to remember that Blow Buddies was at another location before they were at 6th & Harrision and I think they had a suspended walkway. I liked either bunk.
  20. That's how old people look generally - not just on Facetime.
  21. I used to answer my office phone most of the time. I just hired a service to manage my calls for me. I'm already distractable enough without the added burden of junk phone calls.
  22. My husband and I want to host a sex party of 5 or 6 guys at a nice hotel. is there any reason why that wouldn't work?
  23. Things might have changed during Trump's term, but importing brides from Asia was pretty common among straight guys. I don't know the mechanics, but they would jet off to the Phillipines or another place in SE Asia and come back married. One of my older brothers did it. His first wife was white. Their marriage ended when his wife caught him in an affair with an Asian woman in another city. I don't remember how long he was single after that, but then he made a couple trips to the Phillipines and came back with a wife. They've been happily married for probably about ten years.
