  1. Is evidence necessary? For me, someone saying that he/she is bi is enough. It isn't my job get them to prove that they are bi.
  2. I love this thread.
  3. I hardly ever identify as gay anymore. Of course San Francisco is a special case, but it hardly seems necessary to talk about sexual orientation. When it comes up, I just say that I'm into guys. "Gay" this and "Gay" that are artifacts of people who are attracted to their own sex being marginalized and oppressed. And of course plenty of that remains, but I'm able to imagine a society in which sexual orientation just isn't an issue. When it isn't an issue, people won't feel driven to live in gayborhoods and to go to gay bars and to go to gay churches, etc. Believe me, I will miss my outlaw status as a gay man, but being an ordinary person who happens to go for men is pretty comfortable.
  4. Of course. Not everyone is as sharp as you.
  5. I have gotten so that I like a guy to be trimmed and balls shaved. I also find a clean-shaven crotch to be intensely erotic. But no problem with natural either.
  6. Not many here will remember newspapers from the 50s. The Sunday paper always had a pictorial supplement and, back then, European royalty was always heavily featured. As a little boy of 5 or 6 yo, I used to get boners over Prince Phillip.
  7. I don't think I have ever seen a pic of him - amazing. Why do those Windsor men all go to seed they way they do?
  8. In his day, he was very sexy.
  9. Not me. I do believe that it is a real phenomenon and I love 'em. I am 90+% gay, but I do have a tiny bi streak that I could probably cultivate if I wanted to.
  10. A little thin-skinned today are we?
  11. I'm not seeing it.
  12. I just had a horrible experience with my lender. There is something buggy in their web payment portal, and my bank started declining transactions originating from the web portal, saying that the account couldn't be located. Telephone transactions went right through without a problem. They began stuffing my mailbox with threatening letters and all kinds of unpleasantness.. I finally got it fixed but I had to spend a lot of time one the phone reaming everyone who I talked to.
  13. B Be careful of speculating from an n=1.
  14. I think I had decided by 14 or so that I wanted to try sex with guys and was on the lookout for an opportunity. My view was that if I found out I didn't like it, then I didn't have to keep doing it. Took me until 17 to get it done.
  15. I agree completely. A population biologist might say that it is the species doing what it needs to do in order avoid being wiped out by overpopulation.
  16. All over the developed world, fertility rates are dropping. The global fertility rate is 50% of what it was 50 years ago. In the US, it isn't high enough even to maintain the population.
  17. When I lived in the Northeast in the 80's, Italian-Americans were called "Guidos." Haven't heard the term in awhile.
  18. It is still my main form of communication. I'm texting more and more because I get faster responses, but email is still my mainstay. When I bought my first house, the first few months, I had to monitor every penny I spent. Cell phones were in their infancy and you still had to pay long distance charges on land lines. To keep my long distance bill down, I started writing letters. It was pleasant sitting down at my desk and dashing off a letter here and there to stay in touch with remote friends and family.
  19. I'm not into really young guys. I like guys in their late 20's - they are still fresh and youthful, but starting to mature. My real sweet spot is guys in their mid 40s. They are just gold - men through and though and still young to have a great libido.
  20. I like flowers - just because they are what I know best. I have had amazing experiences with edibles provided by others, but I didn't know what they were. I also like vaping, but, again, I was being hosted so I don't know what strain it was. I have two different strains that I love for sex: Wedding Crasher and Jet Fuel.
  21. I hardly think they ignore it. It is impossible to know their algorithm for evaluating the information, but I can't believe they don't want as much information as possible in advance of a booking. Overall, I have had great experiences hiring. There have only been a handful that I could have done without. Your experience may have been different from mine, leading you to draw different conclusions from it.
  22. In my initial contact - I lay it all out - who, what, when, where, what. "Who" includes my age, weight, height, pic sometimes. The quality of their answer lets me know if I want to go through with it.
  23. The motivation was the cash. The porn was a feature of a conducive environment. I wouldn't hire a straight guy if I didn't think he was a good enough actor to give me his entire focus and convincingly act like he was enjoying it. Same way with a gay provider - if he doesn't focus on me and act like he's enjoying it, he's definitely not a repeat. I don't need to fall in love or anything, but I need some connection with a provider. I converse with new people pretty easily, so it isn't hard for me to find that. If it wasn't possible because he needed to be watching porn or something like that it wouldn't sit well. I think I would apologize and say it wasn't working and send him on his way.
