OK, so I personally found a lot of happiness via rentboy. RIP. I am sure a lot of the forum members kept an eye on the take down and trial.

Anyway, the founder is in a federal facility for 6 months. It might make him happy to get some mail from people. Here is his mailing address:

    Jeffrey Hurant 86208-053
    FCI Otisville
    PO Box 1000
    Otisville, NY 10963

From what I understand (which could be all wrong) when writing a letter to a person in prison:

Use only white paper, no colored paper or greeting cards (those can get returned under the guards discretion) and no perfume, stickers, anything like that.
Include his full mailing address on the note. Sometimes the envelopes get scrapped, or damaged, so include your return address info on it if you want him to have a record that you reached out.
Include a full return name and address on the envelope or it will get discarded without opening.
Rules seem to conflict about enclosing things; it seems like up to 5 pages of paper is ok, as are pictures that are enclosed or included int he note. No dirty pictures. Everything else will be considered contraband and discarded.

I think you can also send softcover books and magazines, which I think might be a great thing to do.

So, I found one website (it took some digging) that is kind of doing the same thing for gay guys. Called hand in hand, it seemed legit...and form first hand experience, the guys in CZ are just lovely creatures. I send them a note of inquiry, they sent a response that ended up in my junk mail folder and there was a day or two delay before I noticed it...and then a barrage of mean spirited / horrible notes from them followed. In some ways I had to laugh, because insults written by someone who has english as a second language are kind of awesome....but whoever it is running this agency is not a nice person.

Good question...sex would not be the motivation. Indeed I think Gabriel assumed I would ask for that and I was more than pleased to have him take me out for a thank you dinner and to chat with him. It is more a (perhaps unhealthy) fascination with escorts / escorting as well as being a guy who continually looks for unusual distractions from my very simple life.

Am I the only fellow that looks at guys like this and thinks 'good grief there is no way I could be naked in front of him without having a major body image crisis' !?!

With the current political environment, I'm not sure how many Canadians or British would want to move here.

Three years ago (during a particularly harrowing holiday season) I gave myself the goal of being happily hitched by 2018.

Yep, well, that one crept up on me.

Needing a fun distraction in my life leads me to ask...you hear about the proverbial mail order bride, but does the same thing exist for gay guys? Ideally I would find a cute Canadian or English guy to hitch up with and exchange citizenship with, but I think I could be pretty happy with a sweet guy wanting to live in the US and take me along with the package deal :-)

I have to admit...this fellow needs a lesson in photo posting. There is something decidedly non sexy to me images that feature toilet tanks covered with crap and piles of dirty clothes on the floor!

I have had a crush on Gabriel Cross for years (the combo of fair skin, super short, and English accent is perfection) and hired him when he was in Chicago. We had a nice meeting and it was fun to get to talk to a 'celebrity' in person who managed to make me like him even more as we chatted. I have a spare flat in my house that I post on airbnb and offered it up to him, thinking it would be fun to see him around for a bit but slightly paranoid about what having an active escort in the building for a week might be like. At the end of the stay I can only say that he really is a class act; endearing, charming, considerate, and left my flat in tidy condition. Though the highlight was later seeing some images on twitter of him in a jock strap posing in the flat. On his departure I told him to send some other escorts my way if he thought they would be fun to have around and would not destroy my place...and in his kind way he basically said he couldn't think of anyone that he would vouch for. I would totally offer up the place for other guys to use but I have a strong notion it might quickly go awry... Anyone have any idea if doing that opens me up for any legal issues?
