    This is a little off topic but why doesnt the casino include gratuity for large parties? That’s what most restaurants do. That’s why most of these customers think gratuity is included. If the issue is large parties I can see where they may tend to sit in the nonsmoking section since most of them probably don’t smoke. But that’s not directly related to smoking. In DC and many cities there is no smoking period but waiters still make plenty.

    At LeBoy I dont think smoking has anything to do with tipping.

    I thought of something else - there is something called diffusion of responsibility: if a single stiffs you then he feels guilty. If a whole bunch stiffs you then each person feels less guilty bc everyone did it. But regardless the restaurant should include gratuity for large parties

    As a server in an Indian casino restaurant, it takes 17 hours worked to make as much in gratuities from a non-smoking section to 1 hour in a smoking section. The problem are large parties who wrongfully presume a tip was added to their bill when it is not, and they leave nothing. Frequently. I bust my ass to make sure everything is correct and drinks are filled with regularity. Not fake news.

    Yes this happens to me - youth and inexperience seem to be factors. “I forgot,” “I lost my phone,” etc.

    I always tell them that if something comes up to please let me know - I don’t care if I’m told. Especially when I’m home a last minute cancellation is no big deal. But waiting for a no-show is a bummer. :confused:

    I just realized this thread is about CLIENT no-shows. Oh well it goes both ways. :rolleyes:

    I've had the pleasure of meeting young Fabian also. He has an incredibly fit and athletic build without any hint of that steroid bloat. It's all natural gym and crossfit work. He really makes that extra effort to connect. Something so many of us appreciate.

    I may be crazy but I have almost always hosted- even with those escorts I haven't met. This includes in my home as well as hotel rooms when I've traveled.

    It's a calculated risk.

    For those who prefer to travel for safety reasons - do you only travel to their hotels? Would you travel to their home? It seems to me that's just as risky.

    I think this relevant since it could be a factor in the OP's question.

    I don't think it is as B&W as some of you claim. If you thought and were hoping that your real identity was hidden, would you want to know that it isn't?

    It seems there could be one of two reactions (or both) if a client tells you how easy it is get your real name: "thanks for letting me know I'll fix that" or "how dare you invade my privacy."

    If I can get your name then so can everyone else. Is it better to be in the dark? But the truth is I will go along with the alias.

    BTW I store the phone # of escorts in my contacts. I then get a "friend recommendation" for that escort's FB page under his real name! This has happened at least 5 times. That is still pretty jarring to me. I use a burner phone now for escort biz.

    I definitely like image-search to help determine if pix are stolen. There is a NYC escort who uses 10 yo pix of porn star Marco Blaze and has many new RM reviews claiming the pix are real and recent!

    I do know escorts who get hired often by young Indian immigrants who are closeted in school or after they are done with studies working as doctors or in Silicon Valley.

     

    I don't know why there not many South Asian men advertising as escorts. Maybe they think in a long term other professions/activities are better.

     

    Ps.: They're a very successful community, I knew an Indian who unlike most of his countrymen came over here not for school but because he got a visa. He slept on the floor of a Dunkin Donuts and after saving money bought his own franchising, now his kids are in school.

    Indeed! People who emigrate are probably more motivated and long term thinkers and sacrificers. Another very successful immigration group are Jamaicans. There are a lot of such groups.

    To be clear - I am not an immigrant and not sure I would be a successful one! Soft American who has had everything handed to him. :)

    As I understand it, same-sex attraction is not even acknowledged to exist in India - it is unspeakable. That might give you some clue as to why there are so few Indian escorts.

    Well like a lot of "unspeakable" acts they do exist. RM has an India domain rentmen.in with a couple 100s listings - which isn't a lot for a huge country.

    Transvestism is more accepted than gayness evidently so go figure.
