Lots of gorgeous masseurs in this area, but when I visit I want a serious massage session: strong and detailed, with stretching. Integrated sensuality would be nice, but is secondary. I'd suggest being very careful, especially if you are new to the spa. You might want to ask for a "relaxing" or "full-body" massage. And throw in a few well-timed moans and groans during the massage. Of course, the experience will vary with the spa and the masseur.

Recently had a session here. Nice ambience, and good value for your money. Just make sure you get all the time you paid for! My masseur was Owen, who was polite and delivered with the medium-strong pressure I requested.

There is no one standard type of table shower. Some will include salt scrubs; others are just soap. They can range from mechanical to very sensual. Check YouTube for videos.

I had not been to a Manhattan spa in a while because of what I had read about up-selling, lousy facilities, and bad service. Yesterday I decided to give 27 Men Spa a try, and my expectations were greatly exceeded. The three therapists I saw there (one Asian, two Caucasian) were easily among the most handsome therapists I have encountered in a spa. I was assigned Konstantin, a friendly, tall, lean Russian guy with a chiseled face. I asked for medium-hard pressure for the massage, and he delivered. I even extended my massage time from 30 to 45 minutes because I enjoyed his technique. The body scrub was next. I was expecting a plastic-covered massage table. What I saw was (in comparison) a technological marvel. This shower table had raised sides (which would be a problem for anyone over 5'8") and a heated rubber pad. I received a great salt scrub and was thoroughly lathered and rinsed. Yes, the rooms were all small, but they were clean and at the right temperature. The music was not too loud. Prices (especially with the summer discounts and specials on their web site) were reasonable. All in all, I was very pleased with my experience here.

Does not have a table. The only advertised style is "feather touch." Prefers older clients. Prefers younger clients. "Intuitive." When you ask how long the massage lasts, the response is "You will leave satisfied." States in ad "My room-rate knows my business."

Advertises only on Craigslist (no web site with reviews). You Google search the phone number and all you get are escort ads. Keeps having to call to explain why he is late for the outcall. Uses paper towels to wipe you off.

Any suggestions for a masseur who is first and foremost a skilled therapist (preferably certified) yet open to adding some sensuality to the massage?
