When I was 22, 3 generations of my family took a cruise. It was my first. I was naive and had a girlfriend at home and knew I was attracted to men but didn't identify as gay. The last night of the cruise, I talked to a handsome Swiss bartender who offered to advise me on places to visit in Europe. He had dark hair, green eyes, some body hair, and was in his early 30s. I was very thin with a large butt, dark hair, hazel eyes, and a shy demeanor. He asked me to meet him after work, which was around 4 am. When I got there, he gave me some suggestions for travel and then he used his key to open the locked kitchen door. He put a blanket on the floor and we had sex. It was my first time fucking and I was the bottom. We stayed in touch through mail for awhile. He was a very nice guy who made my first time a positive experience. When I came home, I began my journey of coming out. I think being away and being naive gave me the perceived freedom to have sex without having to take responsibility.

I once had lunch with "Lance" who was David. I was staying at a hotel in SF and he asked me if I had a hairbrush. When I said yes he asked me if he could borrow it. Then he asked me if I want to have lunch. Our check came to $9. He gave me a $10 bill and asked how much change he gets if he wants to pay $5. When we passed a bookstore, he pointed out a book in the window where he was on the cover. Yet he seemed like a very lost soul.
