  1. Evening Mr. FG and WG, I don't know where you may be getting ur info from, but I am EXTREMELY nipple sensitive, and have a a low pain tolerance. And, I am sooo surprised WG, from your posts about nipple action, that you yourself have some residual discomfort. I guess you need to know when to just say, "no." Perhaps if you meet that person again, which I sounds like you may, you need to set boundaries so he doesn't really carry u to the edge and back many times?

Pharmacies care a number of nipple creams for nursing mothers with sore and cracked nipples! One of which in the midwest is called "Udder Cream." I hope u heal before you put on your next nipple clamps, ouchy for me! And FG, hope you have a great rest of the month you dog! WG2

  2. Peanuts are rich in omega 6 fatty acids which the body needs. However, they must be balanced with omega 3 fatty acids which are found in walnuts and almonds. That is why this discussion has focused on the other nuts as well. It's a balancing act, but a tasty one! So to get the protein and the good fat one needs to eat the whole enchilada... Or rather nut... And that includes the oil... but not just peanuts... a variety of nuts.

Also, as I mentioned above when freshly ground it takes a while for the oil to separate out...

I thought everyone was aware of this, but nobody has mentioned it. There is a certain percentage of rodent fecal matter allowed in a jar of PB. It's how they are dried? I think, not certain, that goes for so called natural stuff. Rats, mice, voles like our nuts too.
  3. I commend all three of you guys for doing the NUT thing... I always have some nuts on hand... and especially walnuts. I love almonds as well, but they have been known to crack a tooth or two or three so I tread more gingerly with them. At any rate, both are a great source of omega 3... the perfect balance to the omega 6 found in peanuts.

In any event, to all you NUTTY guys... Remember that you can't spell NUTS without a "U" in it!!! Welcome to the club and enjoy!

U need to b careful with those dentures!!!
  4. Hi Jackhammer, I can't believe I missed these posts! I love jokes and just passing thru all the entries. I LOVE the gut laugh stuff. I worked in oncology in my lifetime, and ALL the patients I cared for were outstanding!!! They had a gift for life, love, and laughter. So here is my entry: What is worse that a dead rat on your piano? An infected beaver on your organ! Rand

  5. I was classified as morbidly obese all my childhood and well into adulthood. Topping out at 303 lbs, at 5'6." Psychologically I had reached my limit. It was as I said to someone, "my first addiction." Also, I finally started to live what I believe to be my simple truth. Weight loss is a matter of intake and output. For over 15 years I have maintained a wt in the low 120's. Did I believe that I had a disease? With no impulse control, and of course using food for all the wrong reasons, perhaps someone could have classified me with some kind of disorder. Do I believe that it should be classified as such? No, EXCEPT if by doing so, it can set people up with certain basic premises of weight loss, exercise, and nutrition.
