  1. Another boring pm request from all you lucky guys who seem to have found nirvana with StrongStrokes. I wonder if he paused to consider why his client list suddenly went up, :) But seriously, would appreciate some pm details and also how you think he might be with decidedly older fellows. Thanks in advance.

  2. I was/am fascinated by Caleb. I think he's stunningly attractive but there was plenty of negative in the last discussion that came up about him so that plus the price put me off. I still think about taking the plunge now and then but then he also seems back and forth from LA and NYC plus travelling everywhere. Seems a bit of a Vagabond, or Party boy to me. Just not sure I'd be willing to take a chance. It was, I should add, interesting to see a positive mention of him.

  3. Alas I must agree with Public Assistance. I too am older and years ago when I went to a masseur I could pretty much count on if there were interactive possibilities they would happen. I no longer feel certain of a satisfactory erotic encounter so I also tend to look for a good experience and stick with that guy for as long as possible. I'm not driven like I used to be so I also don't explore all the possibilities either. The value of this forum continues to be the posting of various experiences with different masseurs so that one can at least make a kind of educated guess as to whether one should spend their money on a particular guy. Sometimes after reading both positive and negative encounters I decide that guy isn't for me and I don't take the chance. So I'm grateful for varying opinions. I have always loved the split between a genuine and an erotic massage and finding that golden mean is a lifelong pursuit. But these days I might tend to look under escorts more than massage if I wanted to be guaranteed a more erotic experience.

  4. A mild chuckle re this thread. Does anyone remember The Body Center on 6th Ave near 14th. I needed to start working out for professional reasons and it was the first gym with steam room, sauna, and a hot tub not to mention a long row of open showers that I had ever been to. If ever there was a motivation for going to the gym regularly at all different hours it was that place. My motivation was "if you finish your work out, then you are allowed to go play". Sometimes play got the best of me and I cut the work out short. I have never experienced anything like it since. Alas this was just before the dawn of the AIDs era when so much of the free wheeling open sexuality of gay gyms faded away. Sure was fun while it lasted.

  5. I tried the search too and found that it seemed to some here that Alex was posting his own reviews. But to me, conclusions are somewhat ambiguous if that wasn't the case. He certainly has a trail of good reviews on the website. I do find him interesting. I've been away from MF for a while. I couldn't find where he was located. Is his studio in Manhattan. He looks very much like a Brooklyn hipster.

  6. That was not my experience at all. The massage was OK but there was NO edging or HE. Chalk it up to chemistry, I guess.

    RE: Danny

I guess I am really out of the loop these days. Could someone tell me what the hell is "biofreeze"?

  7. Generally speaking, if a masseur takes the meeting another direction from the start, they don't have the skills to give a good massage. Sometimes the best course of action is to "just go with it" and enjoy it for what it is.

Seriously, maybe the masseur was so attracted to you he just went for it.

  8. I might be wrong about this but when I came to NYC during the War of 1812, I think there was a law that a masseur had to be licensed to advertise. Getting a license required some degree of training. So most of the masseurs I found back then, not only gave happy endings, but were decent masseurs as well, and it was also not unusual to find a few that went well beyond the happy ending. All in all there were very few disappointments.
