  1. I couldn't care less about those who could care less... And versa-vice
  2. Every sex worker should have their hep A&B vaccinations. Many clinics have them free or at a reduced rate. No excuse.
  3. As I tend to think, we all make personal choices for ourselves. Sure, I may be able to put on more muscle, but at what risk? I just don't feel comfortable taking that kind of gamble with my own long term health. That's me being me
  4. You can achieve results with hard work or you can skip the middleman and inject drugs. While I may or may not be able to break through plateaus that I have in my gym life, it's not worth it to me to cycle on and off testosterone. The long term side effects are well-documented.
  5. Sorta, kinda, but not really. Great News is in its second season and Fey is joining the cast in hopes of boosting the ratings. They have a great comedic ensemble, but the writing hasn't always been up to par. I hope that changes with Fey. The real show to watch with Fey is Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: It's smart, subversive and very, very funny. https://www.rottentomatoes.com/tv/unbreakable_kimmy_schmidt/s01/
  6. Aside from the dangers of steroid abuse, let's not forget that meth continues to disable the gay community. It's a fucking nightmare of a drug.
  7. Same feeling. Much like guys who are pushy with their Amazon Wish Lists, it all feels a little too much to me. Escorts who feel the need to monetize everything about themselves will soon realize that stepping over dollar bills to get at nickels is a bad business model.
  8. Dissent is fine, but at least tell us why you didn't like this show
  9. Brilliant show. Highly recommended.
  10. It's a love story for the ages... With a little hip-thrusting and glitter thrown in for good measure:
  11. This comment for the win. Even good actors take the wrong projects.
  12. LOL. No. I take pride in my body, but I'm not a douchebag. I rely on my clients to make sure my ego doesn't get big enough to be considered checked luggage
  13. This is either going to be spectacular or spectacularly bad
  14. Yessir. And with preset options (and the Hue remote control and motion detector), the system really works well. Rock solid. My favorite lamp in the Hue system is this... You can do a ton of interesting things with them: http://www2.meethue.com/en-us/p/hue-white-and-color-ambiance-lightstrip-plus/719015548
  15. Judy Tenuta is awesome. I remember the first time I saw her: She came out on roller skates, playing the accordion and wearing a wedding dress.
  16. This lamp thankfully had a dimmer slide built into the cord. I've owned it for 10+ years now and have had the dimmer replaced once already. DWR has some nice, lifetime pieces of furniture. My main problem with them at the moment is finding anything on their website that has less than a 6 week lead time. Jonathan Adler has the same issue: I just don't want to wait 6-18 weeks. Patience with furniture is not my strong suit. The Hue system is wonderful. I have my whole home on Hue and voice-controlled with Amazon's Alexa.
  17. Thank you for finding this! It's perfect. The lamp in question: http://www.dwr.com/lighting-floor/spun-floor-lamp/2370.html?lang=en_US#lang=en_US&start=25
  18. Hey... Some here think I'm actually pushing 50. I might as well act like it
  19. You're not crazy: http://www.westinghouselighting.com/color-temperature.aspx I find for me, I'm most comfortable at 3k. It's still warm enough, but verging on getting cool. Fine for reading. Makes art look good. Doesn't wash out skin tones.
  20. I'm sure there are many, but it does sound like a perfect zinger setup from the likes of Dorothy Parker
  21. The problem with going above 5000k is that everything becomes blue-ish. It's a harsh, unflattering light. Good for reading, yes, but it makes a room look like a doctor's office.
  22. Try finding a 200 or 250W bulb. You're more likely to stumble over the body of Jimmy Hoffa. I have a floor lamp that's designed to take a 250W bulb. The original burnt out after nearly 10 years of solid service. Now, it's sitting in the corner with a wimpy '100W equivalent' LED bulb. While the color temp is right, the brightness is just... Lacking.
  23. I thought it was the Holmby Hills house she sold, which has since been demolished and turned into this ugly mess: http://www.latimes.com/business/realestate/hot-property/la-fi-hotprop-100-million-home-sale-los-angeles-20161021-snap-story.html Doesn't she still have the compound in Malibu on Point Dume?
  24. Yes, it is and it's a beautiful small compound. I stayed there last year with a group of friends. The best part about it is that it's been meticulously kept. It's like taking a gigantic step back in time. I once stayed at the Merv Griffin estate in PS. That is a beautiful, expansive property: https://www.luxuryretreats.com/vacation-rentals/united-states/california-desert-cities/la-quinta/the-merv-griffin-estate-114150
  25. I was just identifying those who are synonymous with MCM design on a mass-known level. I totally agree about Neutra's work. He was amazing... As were John Lautner, Purcell, Gruen (and that beautiful bank), A Quincy Jones and others. Palm Springs attracted major talent.
