  1. Going into escorting out of sheer desperation is not what I would call the right motivation. Be careful with yourself: The decisions you make now will have consequences for a long, long time.
  2. This is a sage observation and many escorts should learn from it. I've heard embarrassing stories. Don't show up to a Four Seasons or Mandarin in something that's going to bring your client (and yourself) negative/unwanted attention.
  3. Typical Ryan Murphy production: Desperately attempting to shock until the very end. Judith Light and Jon-Jon Briones were the saving grace of this show, both accomplished stage-trained actors. They deserved better writing and more fleshed-out characters, but they did a lot with the cardboard cutouts they were handed. This whole series was such a letdown from the superb The People v. OJ Simpson.
  4. I believe you might be proving my point with this reply. And along the way, you're confusing yourself with someone who matters to him: An actual potential client. My advice is find a guy (or guys) you enjoy and can relate about here. It's a lot more fun to boost your favorite than attempt to tear down a perfect stranger.
  5. What you're seeing here is dislike, disdain and even bitterness that this guy is living a great life and getting paid top-dollar to do so. Some men are secure hiring escorts as long as it's strictly on their terms. But once that line is crossed, any loose thread will do in an attempt to completely unravel someone. There's also a fair amount of rate shaming going on here. Much like wealth or success shaming, it's the calling card of the envious.
  6. Unless you run the company and reap all profits, porn is not the way to become wealthy. OnlyFans has yet to prove to me that they're creating millionaires.
  7. I can't quite determine whether you're his detractor, his supporter or just a stalker-in-training
  8. It's, like, nearly as bad as the vocal fry epidemic http://time.com/5006345/what-is-vocal-fry/
  9. As an escort and also one that has a long string of good reviews, a thank you email is something I always send. Others have said it here already: It's polite common courtesy. Please and thank you never go out of style.
  10. Mykonos and Crete: BYOE territory. Athens has a couple of fun baths.
  11. The more you post, the more I like you
  12. And to put a more fine point on it, when you sell yourself like a slab of meat, don't be shocked when you're treated like one.
  13. He knew how to spell Reba's name. His Orwell quote gives away the obvious trolling
  14. Rethink what? I said nothing callous. Catching any horrible event on film means it can be replayed ad nauseam and digitally re-lived, by both the audience who was there that night and his many loved ones. It's heartbreaking, yes. Have I made myself more clear for your benefit?
  15. That's a great likeness in that still photo, but I remain a skeptic until I see her perform it. Judy Davis already gave us a definitive Garland performance. Zellweger has a pretty steep mountain to climb with this.
  16. The dish is now pretty much a universal brunch offering. I've seen in on menus in LA, LV, Chicago, Dallas, NYC, Boston, etc. It's also catching on in London, but the problem there is finding authentic grade A maple syrup. As others have said, it combines a variety of textures and flavors: The sweet/savory combo always seems to be popular.
  17. Cirque has probably the most stringent safety measures in place for all of their shows. Much of what you don't see is what keeps the artists alive in the event of something going wrong. That's not to say that human error can't cause a death (or injury). I had a friend working in Cirque's Zumanity (one of their resident Las Vegas shows) who miscalculated her 'death drop' on silks and broke her back in front of an audience. It also ended her career in the circus arts. Although it was ultimately her misjudgment, Cirque took great care of her afterwards. This accident is incredibly sad. That it was caught on film is even more heartbreaking.
  18. I always felt the best part of waking up was Folgers in your cup. Clearly, we have a diverse morning crowd here.
  19. Are they retiring AND pulling from their escort 401k plan? I mean, the penalties alone...
  20. They exist. I can name at least four who live in rentals on the park, just above the treetops. We're talking $12-15k/mo minimum for that view. I don't understand dumping that kind of monthly income on something you don't own, but to each their own. As a property owner, I wrestled with the idea of renting out two homes in very desirable vacation spots. Ultimately, I knew I'd be a terrible landlord, so I now take a profit loss but sleep a lot better at night. EDIT: I was genuinely curious as to what one of them paid in rent, living on CPW, so I called him this evening and asked. I suspect there's some third-party help in there somewhere, but the number I was given was a staggering $20k/mo. Yikes.
  21. She'll always be Rona Lisa Peretti to me... And she sang that show beautifully
  22. Those 15 minutes are tick-tocking away. Nearly time for pizza.
  23. I hate seeing talented performers in total crap: Lisa Howard deserves better than this, but a job is a job... I get that. Having spent a ton of time in Key West, I too have steered clear of JB's music and fandom. To the conchs, he's a poacher and quite the jerk. I don't have a lot of respect for the guy. This kind of show is the new normal for Broadway. I'm just happy to see theatre goers able to wash this (dis)taste out of their mouth with previews of My Fair Lady at Lincoln Center.
  24. This is speculation. If he drops his rates, you have a clue as to his popularity. If not, consider his audience found.
  25. United went to shit when they merged with CO. It also didn't help that they let go the best management from Continental in the process. American is going downhill quickly.: Their CEO is a holdover from US Airways who's turning the legacy carrier into a discount joke. Delta is stepping it up. Agreed totally. I hope they continue to offer more than their competitors.
